On it!

I think, in context along with the rest of the video, it tends to show a sort of callous indifference. If they were somber and quiet, I’d still think their comments to the dad were bad and ill-advised, but it’s frankly possible I’d be a little more willing to give some benefit of the doubt as to their intentions.

So your argument is that people didn’t say those racist, sexist things to Leslie Jones?

The cast was the best part of the movie and they deserved better than their treatment and the film we all got.

I’m going to hope two things are true instead of just one:

Let’s not pretend that this actually signals that Phillips is now refusing to support Masterson. Or that she is now acknowledging his guilt. This is about asset protection, pure and simple. She’s dividing their assets/trying to put as much as possible in her name so that it can’t be included in civil suits against

I would not be surprised if this divorce is about protecting money ahead of civil lawsuits.

Full disagree. That movie was screamingly funny. Hell, there’s a supercut of McKinnen doing outtakes that are all improv and they’re all absolutely hilarious. All four of the lead actresses were in amazing form. The problem was that people expected a full on Ghostbusters remake and they didn’t get it. Fuck ‘em.

I’m a Mormon/Latter-day Saint, and it has been a bonkers few days in this little corner of the zeitgeist since the first Vice article dropped. The Church rarely condemns members publicly, but it issued a rebuke toward Ballard for alleging one of the Church’s apostles supported his initiatives and traded on the

I’m still very much in the camp of not beating up on people who end up doing the right thing after they’ve embarrassingly done the wrong thing, so good job Bill. But also, Bill Maher was an asshole before this, so fuck you Bill.

You don’t know the difference between a rock concert and a musical? How? Or more importantly, why? Did nobody care enough about you to teach you the difference?

This is mind-boggling. I guarantee you that no-one with power gives enough of a fuck about Brand to frame him for anything. He’s actually less relevant to public life than ever before, thanks to his alt-right grifter reinvention.

This from Yelp made me laugh like few other things.

This is just a really great example of why representation matters, in all contexts. The reason it’s a problem that most CEOs are white is because of this. It’s not a question of how “articulate” someone is. It’s a question of whether they “speak your language.” And if you’re not a white man, you probably don’t speak

More women came forward this morning. This certainly explains why he moved so far to the right. He knew this was coming eventually and he wanted to build a wall of protection around himself. Andrew Tate and Tucker Carlson are already supporting him.

Several people theorized for a long time that Brand’s move to the right was because he knew that someone was going to come forward.

For accuracy sake: Bradley does not “punt” the Texas story to Alex. Alex goes rogue and bails (in breach of contract) on flying in a billionaire’s rocket that not even coincidentally looks like a dick after discovering two men basically pimped her out for a multi billion dollar merger. She goes to Texas to join

I mean, there's no rephrasing your way out of "I don't think Blacks and women are smart enough to give good interviews."

Sure, Jann.

There needs to a kind of Clippy for old people when they are being interviewed.
