Eh…scifi explosive that is only trigger-able by a specific frequency. Stays inert until that point.

Also some of us who enjoy unraveling the mystery are already on board with how gorgeous and wonderfully produced the show is. HBO prestige shows already come with a pretty guaranteed level of quality.
I think that is stretching it a bit.
Also, you wouldnt keep techs around who would maintain the older tech. That would be wasted resources.
Nothing to do with that what so ever.
If you mean Arnold (in Bernard) I am going to have to go with not.
A. Yes, I mentiioned the wood cutter
B. Dead due to suicide as far as he is concerned (he should be more wary of that for sure)
C. Elise is on leave as far as he knows.
He's the Anti-Milton. He wont burn the building down. He will just secretly set you up a lover who is tailor made to please you and then have that same lover brutally kill you.
If only Arnold had gotten enough cake for his birthday.
That would be Juggery Pokery. And I shudder at that thought. ew.
If she was the only one? Maybe. But as we saw with the left over confedrados that William left in pieces. Mechanical, the whole lot of em.
No, you are not misremembering things. That is just part of what I was talking about how Dolores' story jumps around on itself.
She also found proof that "Arnold" was altering code as well. Either Ford is behind that, or he doesn't want anyone to know that Arnold is still around as a ghost in the machine.
Or…Logan was the inspiration for that character later on. Teddy is also considered to be similar to William in many ways.
I sort by oldest first. Then come back and sort by newest and just accept im going to miss deeper conversations if they are buried under a page load (if im not responded to directly at least)
Thank you for that response. I am more interested in the looping nature of her story than I care about the MIB actually being someone. So for me the way Dolores' story is framed is a treat unto itself.
It's the Dolores part that is the biggest thing for the time period jumps. She loops doing the exact same things in modern times, with what she did in the past with William and Logan. Even in the middle of her scenes the time jumps happen.
But the show does do a really good job hiding those events. If you would like…
Why do you see it as a gimmick rather than just a framing device leaning on meta levels of the looping nature of the hosts?
An equally plausible explanation. I concur.
Also: could be a secret plot by corporate to let this happen (get a host off park, backwards engineer it) that we just haven't been revealed to yet.
Factually incorrect. Were there re-shoots that altered plot and story? Doesn't seem that way once HBO got some course correction in place to the stories.
Was there re-shoots in the pilot because Miranda Otto was originally cast as Theresa? Yes.
There hasn't been that many glitches since the revierie roll back. Id say its been a normal small amount plus Maeve and the wood cutter.
Ashley was out looking for Elise, didn't have any reason to think he would encounter hosts who would malfunction.
