If the show chooses to layer the the timelines inside the dual nature of the bots looping, who are we to say that is a failure? I think it is planned and edited beautifully to do so. Knowing the pedigree of J. Nolan this doesn't surprise me at all.

1. For those curious, here is a screen cap: http://i.imgur.com/5HS6qzO.png
2. We have no reason to think the bullets would be different. I do not think there is any difference between the round William took and the ones the MIB withstands. MIB may even get a "less annoying" impact round as part of his VIP package.…
1. Neat
2. Proof of this? When the MIB is shot, we do see an impact on him but then he knows what to expect opposed to when William is shot and he goes "down"
3. Proof please. At least an example.
4. Maybe, but also the Bowie knife is as much a part of the history of the old west as the Colt revolver is.
For sure. I just don't see a company having a modern logo (that is used in all it's marketing material) and not update the logo in the welcome center of the park.
The show, websites and interviews with the creators have told you EVERYTHING you need to know to enjoy the show and let the mystery unravel as you watch.
Everything you ask has already been covered in the show. I suggest a rewatch of all episodes to get all this if you missed it the first time.
1. There are 1400 guests in the park on average every day. Host to Guest ratio is about 10-1. In the pilot we saw a good handful of various guests but it makes sense for the main…
"We never explicitly saw what happened there" exactly. That coupled with the later showing of that same scene where he proclaims to Dolores "let's start at the beginning" shows to me that he didn't rape her. Well, at least on this visit.
I have noticed a few clothing "discrepancies" in the HQ. Bernard is often wearing something different in scene changes that feel like that are linear.
It is not without precedent, but to keep the old logo around where the guests see it?
Oh yes. Caught that on my second time. I think all of Dolores' scenes past hooking up with William have been showing two different timelines doing the same activities.
Oh, GE is coming back (kind of) http://www.eater.com/2015/1…
This is just one piece of evidence for the dual time lines theory. Clementine interacted with William and not Maeve because it was earlier in the park time when Maeve was a prairie wife. Backed up when Maeve was glitching and couldn't close the deal so security guy tapped in Clementine to be the madam since "she has…
Um, you seemed to have missed the earlier scene then when William was in the whorehouse WITH CLEMENTINE (Logan was off with his MFFM foursome nextdoor)
Ah see, I only equate a dual timelines with William and MIB (regardless of MIB connection or not) The stories from the POV are the dual timelines.
Flashbacks (like we have already seen Ford have) are different to me.
Agreed, that has always been my stance. The moment MIB and William share a scene, dual timelines is OUT. But I think there is a reason we haven't seen William share any scenes with Maeve and Teddy at all.
"why wasn't she decommissioned?"
That may be a very important piece to the puzzle we don't know yet. Perhaps if William/Logan get the controlling share in the park in the past, keeping Dolores around might be part of the deal.
"I don't buy it because the robots looked like hammered sh!t 30 years ago and yet Dolores looks exactly the same in every scene."
Any smug tone you read (at least from me) is of your own doing. Those of us who see it like to discuss it (whether something makes sense or is off) get more enjoyment out of the show this way.
But until the ride (or at least the season) is over, how will we know what is puzzle and what is ambiguous for ambiguity sake? So what is wrong with having fun and discussion about the puzzle solve if it entertains us?
So much of the story of William/Dolores (spell it right please) is layered together with the MIB story. Its getting more and more unclear how people aren't catching that.
