Unfortunately, she’ll never get past that misstep. She is too easy for Trump to lambaste with the vulgar “Pocahontas” and gives off Hillary vibes that the Democratic Party can’t risk this cycle. She has great ideas and it is nice to see a candidate speak about specific policy proposals rather than “hope and change”,

This feels like some forewarning that a lot of people are going to be pissed about the ending, to be honest.

She’s whining about not having food for this new army, but she and all her people are (un)dead without them.

They’re also dead without food too.  You can’t sustain an army if you can’t feed them.

Sorry, I don’t entertain or debate with Sansa haters. It’s an exercise in futility. You either get her, or you don’t.

Jon is the son of Dany’s older brother Reaghar, and the line of succession follows Reaghar’s descendants. I don’t think the order of death enters into it, Reaghar had an heir in Lyanna’s belly when he died.  It’s like Prince William’s first-born being heir before Harry.

The fact Bran scene got as much time as Arya, the Hound & Gendry was disappointing. They combined 2 reunions into one scene.

It was very powerful, but I felt like it was straight out of Hannibal. (RIP Hannibal)

No time (or budget) to spare, and yet there is time (and budget) for a pointless 10 (15? 30?) minute dragon flying montage that only leads to a makeout spot in front of a somehow flowing waterfall?

“Idiots! I said severed arms placed every 25 degrees, not 30! Why are you trying to sabotage my vision?”

My biggest beef with last night’s episode was essentially Bran.

I think it’s different now because in Essos, Dany was going against assholes like her brother, Dothraki warlords, slavers, and the Qarth 13. But now she’s directing that same attitude towards characters we actually know, like Sansa (and Jon last season).

Haven’t watched it yet, but I reiterate what I’ve been saying from the start, as long as Sansa is alive and happy by the end, idgaf about the rest of that stuff.

I can’t help but feel that what made the early show so compelling was the slow burn. The show (and the books it was based on) took its sweeeeeeet time, developing characters, planting seeds, delaying payoffs, and hitting us out of left field with “hey you know those characters we’ve been building up for ages? Just

She’s always been like that. She always expects people to treat her like their queen for no reason other than that she (believes she) is the rightful heir. To be fair, though, that’s pretty much how royalty works.

Was Arya...flirting?

I agree about Dany, she seems to be more offended that people don’t immediately love her than concerned and looking for ideas to win their trust.

Regarding the “Last Hearth” wall art...

I’m not at all thrilled Jon had to go complain about Sansa to Arya, as it’s just going to give Sansa haters more fuel for their fire, when in fact Sansa’s concerns are incredibly legitimate. (Someone on this damn alliance needs to think about how all these soldiers are going to eat.)

I just don’t understand why they’re cramming these last two seasons into so few episodes, just so they can rush everything like this.
