Mmm, I’d be hesitant in making that comparison, it’s not like the Han Chinese aren’t a native people (even if there was longstanding conflict). I’d say a better comparison would be if the British incorporated the story of William Wallace where he’s having tea with the Queen.

Thank you. The people around here that were defending hurtful and marginalizing garbage need to know when to stfu. This show was clearly a bunch of thin people trying to seem like they “get it” but really just putting all of their own horrible misconceptions about fat people onto the screen. 

I actually didn’t like A Room With A View as much as some of the other costume dramas. I recognize it as being a pinnacle of the style, but it just didn’t do as much for me. I like the supporting characters more than I like the leads. Not sure why.
