Reservation police have no power to stop non-natives committing crimes. Native Americans on reservations are targeted for crime because of this. Rape of Native Americans is at epidemic levels because of this. Oh and the GOP gutted the bill that would have done something to stop it. I was turned off by the way he and Wil Wheaton talked over/ignored the only other guest on the Doctor Who after show. It was obnoxious and off-putting in a very familiar way.
