Yeah, which means that the department sanctioned it. I’m not kidding, there are counties/cities where the police legally have the Punisher’s skull emblazoned on their car, usually somewhere near “In God We Trust”.

I should add that I’m also upset, this shouldn’t have happened and it’s awful, but Dan Harmon should’ve been given a short leash and his behavior curbed a while ago. I don’t care how good his shows are, no one deserves to be treated like this.
This is the least shocked I’ve ever been. Harmon is known to be a complete asshole and treats people horribly. He made Chevy Chase seem like the sympathetic one for God’s sake.
It’s funny you mention Judge Dredd cos I feel like both he and the Punisher both have a legion of fans that don’t get it’s a warning/satire. Gerry Conway specifically created the Punisher as a warning about how we treated veterans with PTSD and as a villain.
Dynamite is doing a Pumpkinhead comic!?! Cullen Bunn is writing it!?! Please, please let them actually complete the story, unlike that one comic in the ‘90's.
I’ve never messed with the console itself, only the emulator, and does it ever make the games even worse that you can’t savestate like every other emulator. The controllers do look really odd and make the first Xbox controller seem smooth in comparison.
I’m more interested what he thinks about the cops that worship the Punisher and put his logo on their cop cars. That’s the most horrifying one for me.

That may be true, but it’s still a chore to play (AVP on Jaguar that is, I’ve never tried the Doom port.) I’ve never played a console AVP game that I really enjoyed, I vastly preferred the more fluid movement and perfect atmosphere of the PC games. Well, the first two. That third AVP game was pretty mediocre,…
*waits for the people to jump in with their “you don’t understand the culture” defense like that article on the “really 700 years old trope”*
The comic books are a lot of fun, the movies are awful and the best games are the first two PC games, which nail exactly the right tone for each of their campaigns; the Jaguar one was just the best game out of a lineup of bad games and plays like Doom stuck in mud.
Opinions are opinions. I personally consider Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection vastly more entertaining and interesting than most of the Star Wars movies.
I’d probably blame it on the failed animated series. With that in tow, it might have had an even bigger reach beyond, maybe not on the exact same level of Trek or Wars, impacting kids whose parents wouldn’t let them see the films but were OK with them watching a toned down cartoon version. I’m not sure how good it…
Not happening. Universal and Warner Bros. have both stated they have no interest in the franchises crossing over. (It would definitely mean they’d have to renegotiate with Toho, as they are limited in what they can do and their license on Godzilla and friends ends in 2020.)
I have a 4K TV. I bought it cos it was a decent price for a decent size. Unless a film I’m interested in (maybe if Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla gets remastered for 4K so that it’s not as dark and murky as the Blu-ray) has its director, cinematographer, etc. come out and say 4K is the definitive way to watch it, that it…
Is it... is it a racist thing? Are they trying to say no Wu-Tang Clan?
“alternative lifestyle advocacies”
That’s really funny, it’s not like Ridley Scott was forced by a studio into making a watered down movie fans wanted. Alien: Covenant? What’s that?
I guess it’s because I waited to do the grind stuff until after I had completed endings A-E (I held off on doing the final thing with ending E until after the 100%), so it feels more like I’m just spending more time with a game world I love, rather than putting off the end of the story. I did all the side quests I…
I thought Nier: Automata had an incredibly breakneck pace and can’t imagine how truncated it would feel if it were shorter.
