Yoko Taro is a gift.

I haven’t brought myself to delete my save file yet cos I want to 100% everything (which is a really rare feeling for me with a game), but this honestly might be my favorite game ever. Everything about it is so pitch perfect for me and it’s the quintessential experience that could not be told in another medium.
Fever Ray was still my album of the year, but HAIM was a close second. “Night So Long” might be one of my favorite album closers of all time.
I look forward to some great character development and buildup that will eventually fizzle out with a lame narrative twist that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.
Triptans (Imitrex in particular) do amazing for me, but I only get nine a month, which doesn’t begin to cover how frequent my migraines are.
And? She’s still a cis person making a show about a trans person, who has cast a cis person as a trans person and made the show more about the people around the trans person.
“well-intentioned trans representation”
It does. There’s a couple CG shots that don’t work well (mostly when the fourth form is moving too quickly) but overall Anno’s style worked really well for the material. (I don’t credit Higuchi too much, partly cos of the rumors that Anno kind of took over most of the work on the film when he came on board and also…
Stereotypes of different white cultures while there are tons of different white characters on the show, is not the same as having one stereotype represent an entire race.
Bumblebee Man is based on a real person, though.
You’re too late
Fair, I just thought it fair to not erase the past. He does seem actually regretful of the situation.
But Shin Godzilla is CG. The only practical effects are the miniatures, which were actually destroyed for real but had a CG Godzilla placed in after.
Get out of my house.
Stewart himself would be the first to tell you (he said as much in the documentary The Captains) that he was quite horrendous to his first wife, so you’ll still have to keep looking for that shining beacon of hope.
I will only recognize him as sexiest once he gets to appear on Legion.
Stardust. A bizarre fantasy chase scene from Neil Gaiman and Charles Vess becomes the closest we’ll ever get to another Princess Bride, with my favorite performance by de Niro ever.
It’s Millar. Bendis is just dull and at least can do some decent noir books, Millar seems like he would actively start doing some awful shit the moment no one’s looking.
Yeah, but I also saw Die Another Day four times in the theater cos while it is bad, it is the fun kind of bad.
I will say I prefer Bryan Fuller’s Hannibal series to anything Harris has written and any previous adaptation.
