I think a film that has a raptor riding on a T-rex’s head while has also having a (what I took to be) meta joke about merchandising films where mass slaughter occurs, I think Jurassic World needs to be in its own “I’m not sure what to do with this category.” Kind of like how the 1998 Godzilla isn’t really good or bad,

I would say Avengers: Age of Ultron was very middle of the road. I was just ready for it to be over around the halfway point of the film. I’m not the person who gets tired of Marvel movies and complains about all of them. I’ve liked most of them (the exceptions being Iron Man 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy, the latter

Yeah, is it really surprising he’s involved in another “This should have been great!” movie? I know Prometheus wasn’t all his fault, but the original script was miles ahead of his.

Also to note that Chris McQuarrie wrote Edge of Tomorrow, one of my favorite science fiction films of the past five years. Which also featured Cruise.

Which is a shame, because I had a lot of fun with Spectre. That scene with Bond interrogating the mouse was worth admission on its own.

Not only that, but she had her own villain and dat knife fight.

If you’re bored, I wouldn’t recommend It Follows. It is not paced very well for someone who is bored. Hell, I was onboard with it and the pacing killed me.

Weirdly enough, outside of the second one (I rewatched all of them before Rogue Nation and I couldn’t stand more than 20 minutes, I forgot how bad the second one is), I tend to forget most of the first movie. I like it a lot. A whole lot. I just forget a lot of it.

I really liked Terminator Genisys. Granted, I watched it at home, after hearing all about how bad it was and, yeah, Jai Courtney wasn’t great (he wasn’t bad either) and I could’ve used a little more Matt Smith (he was pretty wasted), but I had a lot of fun and thought it did a lot of interesting and fun things.
