A few inches (or very much less) in the wrong direction and he’s a goner. He’s definitely very lucky to be alive.

I don’t know what it’s like in NY public transit but in Toronto, coming from work downtown at 1 AM, I’m not listening to headphones, nor am I nodding off. I pretend I’m staring off blankly into space while

If anything, it’s better to carry a folding knife, at least in Canada. It’s illegal to carry weapons here and it’s intent that matters more than anything. Knives have a lot of utility that can’t be denied no matter where you are whereas a kubotan is almost always considered a weapon despite its less-lethal nature. So

I was mostly okay with it. Though it was because at the time, I had assumed there were going to be more single-player DLC <.<

I get that companies need funds, considering how expensive it is to make games. But they really shouldn’t treat their customers like idiots and say it wasn’t a conscious decision to abandon the single player content.

I think it would have saved their face quite a bit if the content they did create for MP wasn’t

I never did understand a lot of society’s conventions. I mean, I get the logical step by step level why people do what they do, but I never understood it on a personal level why society does what it does ie: holding a person accountable for their partner’s actions.

Yeah, jerks don’t tend to remember when they’re being a jerk to someone since it’s “the norm” for them. Conversely, nice people don’t keep track of when they were nice to someone.

In any case, not sure if it’s because he played Tobias from Arrested Development so well, or he married a young hot woman 20 years his

“But but... how else would studios be able to underbid and overpromise on projects?” -Regional manager of a fairly large mobile game developer who my friend tells me has 2 condos, and 3 sports car (1 is a lambo) all the while constantly saying there’s no money for raises and that crunch is mandatory.

Hi, I’m on the spectrum for sociopathy. That means it’s okay for me to murder right? I mean, the media already leads people to believe that when white mass murderers do it, it’s somehow justified and understandable because of their mental issues. But when a minority does it, it’s an act of terrorism.

Yeah, dlc is great when they give you value, like anything else.

Imagine playing a game of dungeons and dragons and you deck out your freshly-made character in godly gear and an insanely powerful backstory to boot. This is totally something you can do for your own character and there’s no system in the game that forbids you from doing so. You can even play this character with your

Get outta here with your logic and proven examples! There’s money to be saved!

Viewing it the same as gambling would make irl TCG and those gacha toys “gambling”. While I don’t approve of lootboxes, let’s not get carried away and label something that it’s clearly not.

They are instanced. There’s several neighborhoods that are essentially copies of each other but there’s still a cap as to how many houses there are.

See, that’s the thing. Lots of people want to buy it yet they’re not giving them a reasonable way to do so. They can’t really cry about piracy ruining their business if they don’t let people get access...

I wouldn’t hold my breath for it. Since the Switch is region-free, you technically can buy it, but it sure as hell wouldn’t be in English.

I’m anti-piracy for content that’s commercially available. However, if there’s no way to legitimately buy something aside from the aftermarket ie: insanely priced cartridges meant for collectors, I think it’s dishonest for content providers to call it piracy at that point.

While I agree with the sentiment that he probably has more racism in his bones than he’s aware, this attitude is essentially shutting the door on someone’s face when they’re starting to grow and change.

Ah, I love game companies, specifically, Japanese game companies that embraced Steam. Now if only they’d release their games at the same time on PC as with the consoles...

Ah people that love to scare away people from their tribe... “Only true fans allowed!”... I wonder why that line of thinking sounds so reminiscent of something.

We also had a certain variety that ran rampant in Toronto awhile back. I think they did this thing called embezzling. Which made me even less of a fan. Sure they clamped down on them with new policies and laws but the fact that they could do it for so long was ridiculous.
