Too soon, my friend.

I dunno, I thought this one was cuter than the Totally Wired - though I love both songs and welcome the chance to listen to either with such delightful visuals.

Johnson's character is also apparently the smartest person in the Jurassic franchise, [SPOILER] having spent the entire movie safe underground. Why didn't our main characters (especially the children) just cool out with him until the army or whoever could drop a bomb on the bad dinosaurs?

Honestly, I'd say it's about right. Pretty much everybody is underused except for the leads and the story doesn't really go anywhere interesting.

This is one of the most interesting inventories I've read in a while. Also, may I add Jens Lekman's singles: "Rocky Dennis' Farewell Song" and "Jens Lekman's Farewell Song to Rocky Dennis" (not to mention "Rocky Dennis in Heaven") from Oh You're So Silent Jens? I guess technically the songs are in dialogue with each

He did research, but failed to mention that the chorus comes straight from the Kool Moe Dee classic "Wild Wild West". I think Moe Dee might even cameo in the video. And though I share his hate for this song for all the reasons listed, I do give it a smidgen of credit for reintroducing Moe Dee's version, which is

I saw Kendrick at Pitchfork last year (?) with the band and it worked for some songs, not so well for others. When samples or electronic beats get translated to a live band, it can sound very repetitive.

I agree. Sam Neil's character was the most problematic for me because I know he could do more with the character than the mustache-twirling he's been given. Season 2 is worth watching, though. There are many pleasures - including more colorful gangsters and a much cooler love interest for Tommy.

Is it just me, or has the quality of Apple products and service tanked since the death of Steve Jobs? They never fix anything if they can charge you for a replacement/upgrade.

Funny you should mention it, but as little Sister with a Mama, Papa, and older Brother, I immediately identified with the bear-folk based on the fact that their color matched my families' medium-brown complexion.

Yeah, that was BS. The commentaries were the best part of the DVDs.

"I think people are too eager to dismiss quiet, sad music as soon as it becomes popular, and write off its fans as lazy sheep."

Indeed! And sorry to go off-topic, DRC, but are you a moderator for the TI Forum? If so, could you please approve the account I just created. It keeps telling me my account is pending staff approval…

I met Jemaine :-) He's lovely.

It was a callback to one of the best bits from Indecision 2004, when Colbert was comparing the hardscrabble upbringings of the democratic candidates like Obama (grandson of a goat herder) and Biden (son of a coal miner or some such). That made my night.

My trajectory was roughly the same: read The Fountainhead at 16 and was inspired by its statements about artistic integrity; read Atlas Shrugged at 18 and realized, as a friend put it, that it was 700+ pages of masturbation.

The best reference was to Colbert's Indecision backstory as the son of a turd miner. That made me soooo happy.

YES! I loved the movie (and actually saw it in a screening with the filmmaker, with whom I share mutual friends) and the soundtrack still lives on in my heart. Lots of personal attachment to that song in particular, since at the time I was going through a breakup with a fellow from the Bay Area who was kind of the

A true Chicago treasure who has done tons of interesting work. Any chance of getting him back for a Random Roles so he could talk about Mamet, Fat Tony, etc?
