Meh. This is just not an exciting list. It just seems like a lot of....old content, most of which hasn’t aged well. I already have HBO/HBO Go - why would I pay for a second service? I have Harry Potter and LOTR on blu-ray, I don’t need to stream it. Most of the DC stuff is already on HBO. Hulu offers a ton of these…

I hope this is a tactic in the US. My local movie independent theater has themes every month and the play classics at 11pm on Friday-Sunday (for example, they’ll do a whole month around sports movies and play things like Slapshot or Caddyshack). I would love to see modern classics that I couldn’t see as a kid now on…

I couldn’t agree more! Two+ generations never got to see this in theaters (I’m a millennial but was lucky to see the special editions on the big screen when I was 9) - the magic money the house of mouse could make is tempting to them I’m sure.

As the article above links - this isn’t nearly the first time this has happened. When FX started doing there “Every Simpsons Ever” and mastered the early seasons into HD, they were cropped. So blame Fox, and then go pirate your seasons - don’t blame Disney, they just inherited it. 

I think all the ABC content will live on Hulu...as long as it’s produced by ABC Studios. Other shows they’ve picked up from other studios, maybe not.
