    3) Snyder (perhaps accidentally) reveals that Netflix counts every view as 2 views! Give me a fucking break Netflix! You’re a data company, what is this nonsense?

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t really get the point of bringing back characters that didn’t land in the first place for these multiverse movies.

House of the Dragon isn’t called Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon either but as seen from the preview of S2 in this article, they still denote it above the title. I think it’s fair to assume WBD thinks the average viewer is too dumb to realize these shows are connected without outright stating it.

Honestly that’s fine - not every show is for everyone. But why bother reading articles about the show and commenting on it?

Ah yes - certainly agree with that.

Kind of. They added cut scenes (which had already been created for the Playstation release) and post-game content with more bosses. They didn’t update the graphics of the original game much. If you look at gameplay screens of Sea of Stars vs Chrono Trigger - you’ll see the difference I mean.

I played Remake and thought it was just OK. Didn’t think the additions added much to the original game or made up for the extreme delay in being able to experience the entire story.

Yes but that was mostly due to not being able to fit the game onto one disc - it was still one big game. It wasn’t sold for 3x the price and your character progress didn’t reset in the 2nd and 3rd parts of the game.

Like many, I loved this game and FF7 as a kid. I hate what was done with FF7 - splitting the game into three parts and changing the game mechanics. Not to mention taking so long to release the game - it will take over a decade for the game to come out in its entirety from initial announcement.

Personally I don’t think a flash forward, like your Breaking Bad examples, are the same as a time jump. To me, a time jump is shifting the main events of the series forward by months, if not years, to change the dynamic of the characters / plot.

Halt and Catch Fire is sorely underrepresented here. The show has several time jumps between seasons but the time jump that happens towards the end of S3 really propels the characters to completely new places and sets the stage for a really good final season.

There’s no point in giving a heads up on this - it’s been broken for so long that the fact that it isn’t fixed yet means zero people give a shit about even the most basic issues with their write-ups here.

I’ve gone to two movies in the past few months - Napolean and, as of today, Dune Part Two. One at AMC and one at a Regal. In both cases, the actual movie didn’t start until a whopping 35 minutes after the advertised showtime. There were actual advertisements first, then way more trailers than reasonable (no - I don’t

IMO M. Night is a good director but an average to bad writer. The issues with his movies are generally just the story.

I honestly do not understand how this guy’s restaurants are this successful. The prices are crazy, the food looks just OK from the pictures I have seen, and the chef is obnoxious as hell (to me at least).

My favorite tea is a vanilla almond black tea by Republic of Tea (available on Amazon). I think it’s very approachable for new tea drinkers as well.

There’s an easy solution for customers here - go to another restaurant that serves burgers / chicken sandwiches. There are lots and lots of them.

I typically use Ubers when I am going out and plan to have a few drinks - assume many other people do the same. Would rather people continue using Uber and not driving drunk personally.

Personally I think the time pressure is a reason the game works as well as it does. The time pressure incentivizes you to advance in the game - to get upgrades like the sprinklers so you don’t have to spend a portion of your day watering plants. It also actually advances the game at a good pace so you get to the

They’re OK. I think their wings are roughly the same as BWWs but they don’t skimp on sauce as BWWs does. And I think BWWs has way better sides (their potato wedges top any fries that Wingstop has for me).
