I don’t really agree with the “these days” aspect of his comment. Sex scenes / gratuitous nudity have been prevalent in adult-marketed films for a really long time and on TV since HBO / Showtime took off.

I gave Pluto a try last year as I wanted to watch a show that was only on there (Franklin & Bash - never had seen it but liked the cast). I appreciate that it’s free but man, the ads are obnoxious. They don’t even bother to place the ads in the natural ad breaks that the show originally had, a lot of times they start

I honestly am not sure if I liked The Big Prize Door or not. Lot of good actors and performances but didn’t find the story all that engaging. But I’ll watch the second season.

HBO is thinking of its viewers for a change.

“I refused to because I’m like, ‘I feel really uncomfortable right now and this is the only evidence,” Fox said.

The appeal of these cups, in general, is that they maintain the temperature of your drink - they keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot. That isn’t true of an average glass or even mug you have at your home. So if you brew coffee at home and want to take it to go, it stays hot on the trip into the office. Whether or

The early seasons of Suits was solid TV IMO - it hit that right balance of fun and dramatic and was a great embodiment of the blue skies era at USA. If they can recapture that with a new story, I’d be in. But my guess is they’re going to recreate the latter seasons when characters were mostly unlikable and screaming

    I support this.

Also, are they going to digitally de-age Keaton for this? How do you explain a ghost looking more than 30 years older than the last time anyone saw him?

Sure there will be some exceptions but I still don’t think the article is wrong to assume that Chipotle is targeting teenagers / young adults.

I think the writer means establishing a credit score (as in starting from nothing as high school or college kids may be doing) vs building a good credit score. Most adults already have bank accounts and credit cards and wouldn’t find access to a SoFi account or credit card compelling (or even much of a perk at all).

I think what will make or break the system are the new games personally. Backwards compatability would be nice to have but the excitement comes from brand new releases.

That was my first thought too - feels like the last thing you want a customer to think when it comes to food is that it’s “dirty”.

The rumor I read is that the original plan was that Foggy and Karen would have been murdered off-screen and the season would deal with Matt coming to terms with it and becoming Daredevil again. And holy shit, I can’t believe someone had to review a professional writer’s script and tell that what a terrible idea that

I honestly didn’t think Iron Fist was that bad as a show. A lot of the supporting cast was good, especially Jessica Henwick and Tom Pelphrey. They just totally and completely botched the casting of Danny Rand. Finn Jones may have looked the part but his acting was dull and it was leaked that he had little to no

There do seem to be a lot of Korean chains popping up - near me I can count five off the top of my head. Bonchon is by far the best for Korean wings - the rest of them have an odd texture on their wings.

Bonchon is really good and personally don’t think it is that pricey for what you get because the wings are huge (and wings in general are expensive nowadays).

For people who aren’t sports fans, the last time the Lions won their division before this year was 1993 (back when they were in the NFC Central division), the last time they won a single playoff game was 1992 (the 1991 playoffs), and they have not made a Super Bowl in the modern era (they have some NFL championships

I don’t understand why people still trust AVClub headlines which are at best are overly sarcastic overreactions to news and at worst incorrect and misleading (as this one is). Even the write-up that this hack regurgitated says that the show didn’t move forward because Apple didn’t like the main character.

The project fell out of public view after that, and in October, Coppola told the New York Times that Apple wasn’t into the main character, Undine Spragg, who is both Coppola’s favorite literary anti-heroine and a character the tech behemoth found “unlikable.”
