Haven’t eaten at Applebee’s in year but went there regularly in college for their half-off appetizer nights. Could see this being a pretty big hit with college kids.

Involuntary manslaughter typically applies to cases where a person does something illegal or reckless that ends someone else’s life. Drunk driving is the simple example to give.

Time to get her into either The White Lotus or the next Knives Out movie. Then we’ll know she’s truly made it.

Overall I liked the season but I think it falls a bit below S1 and S2 for me. Everything with Roy, Gator, Dot, and Ole Munch was great and I really enjoyed the final scene with Munch cooking biscuits with Dot. But I felt like the show could have done more with Indira (especially if they had tossed out the frankly

Yes you can watch it on its own.

What about it makes her sound bad? She obviously got asked a question if she was working on any other shows and the Instagram comment is clearly a joke. The linked article even refers to her tone as “joking” as she answered that question.

Probably easier to pull that move off in the old days lol.

An anthology where every season has new characters who are beefing could work.

The Bear isn’t a comedy. It just isn’t. The only real counter people have had is that it has had a few funny scenes like the kids passing out on drugged punch or Fak bickering with Richie. But having a few funny scenes doesn’t make a show a comedy. The Sopranos and Mad Men had humorous scenes too (I’d argue they had

This is a completely dumb take that just shows how out of touch Chase is. There is so much good TV every year - shows that are creative and smartly-written.

This doesn’t seem that surprising to me if fast food and Tex-Mex is being included (which is pretty much just American food).

Just finished watching this and enjoyed it quite a bit. A couple of things in particular that I enjoyed:

I would pay to see Tenet in theaters if Nolan redoes the sound editing.

I think if Koy hurt himself quite a bit by trying to throw his writers under the bus.

My biggest question going into next week is if they’ll link this to the other seasons or movie in some small way as they have in the past four seasons and how they’ll do so if they do.

She had to drop the rifle so she could open up the well that she goes into. And after talking to Lorraine and Indira and being told that an army of feds are coming to rescue her, there’s really no reason for her to prioritize grabbing the rifle again over hiding when she could be discovered at any given minute.

Leo has definitely been made fun of at an awards show for his dating history (believe by Ricky Gervais) and the graph showing how the age of his girlfriends always stays the same as he ages always seems to pop up every few months on Reddit.

Crazy. Right before NYE I was talking to some friends and they mentioned their daughter was upset due to getting the wrong Stanley cup. Their daughter plays hockey so I thought they meant a replica of the NHL Stanley Cup trophy. They explained this whole fad to me and now a few days later, there are articles

I get your points but I think “pennies on the dollar” is a bit misleading. Girl Scouts get somewhere in the range of 65-75% of what they sell. Which seems pretty fair considering they aren’t baking the cookies or distributing them. It isn’t like they’re getting totally taken to the cleaners which is how I generally

Danish always came across as a bit cocky and overconfident. Which would make sense if he’s spent his career strongarming Lorraine’s opponents (presumably with a very good success rate). I didn’t find it hard to believe that he would go to Roy after being told by Witt that Dorothy was in immediate danger.
