nicely played. Star for you! lol

that would be awesome! Especially if they contracted with each of the company’s to be towed by their competition!

My other vote would be for Peugeot’s 504's. I remember watching alot of those nature films taken in Africa and if it wasn’t a Land Rover it was a Peugeot being used to ferry people around the various corners of the unpaved paths. I got spend three summers in Tuscany/Umbria behind the wheel of one of these wagons

A Landy! I mean they’ve been made in so many flavors and configurations and are damn near unkillable while being mechanical mountain goats.

I grew up back in those days of riding in the back of my little league coach’s pick up to go get celebratory hot dogs. Best part was the time we’d catch air going over the railroad tracks in town... otherwise it was a scary ride. I also lived through the shift from no belt requirement to mandatory belts. This was

I think Nick Mason still drives his as he’s owned it forever.  The joy from Brian at being in its presence and in the passenger seat while Nick “just” drives it is priceless too.

Bad pictures or worse, just one crap picture and little to no description.

When the first lines in the listing are about “Not dealing with tire kickers, questions, BS, lowballers, etc...” and continues listing every possible POS trait someone might approach them on. And then they provide two lines about the vehicle and one crappy picture taken in the rain at dusk from 8yrs ago that was when

They’re trying to catch Marty and Doc.

It is interesting that in older European cities the size of all vehicles is ultimately limited so in general everything is smaller scale vs US where we’re just bigger in every way even in our old cities.

Grand Central in NY has a specialized Fire “Truck” that handles the small stuff very quickly.  I think part of our / US problem is that outside of major cities, the Fire Dept’s are tasked with longer distances to the fire locations and hence need all the equipment on board just in case.

indeed!

Would potentially be a horrible scene for sure.

If she was in a restricted area then she wasn’t on the carousel. The baggage system that courses through most airports is not a place to play around and the belts and drives are totally unforgiving if you get somehow snagged or pulled into them.

I’ve had my driver’s license for over 40 yrs now and have received numerous speeding tickets in the first 20 or so yrs I was driving and riding my motorcycles. 2 moments stand out as dumb:

If GM doesn’t actually own any of these, it might be time for them to buy one back. They really are just promotional vehicles and no amount of altering them can change their intended use without changing their overall look. I mean, they have no windows so you can’t use it as a repurposed RV. It won’t work as a toy

Any good full size GM from the early 70's will accommodate as long as you bring a few “friends of mine”

Any anonymous windowless white work van. It’s got the payload capacity, you can hose it out, plenty of room to have a onboard deep freeze or even a table to otherwise handle the carcass and no one pays attention to them when they’re parked so you can take your time and do it right....

Interesting. In the past 10yrs of test driving cars to replace our leases/purchases at best they’ve quickly photocopied my DL and then said “ok, lets get you that test drive” . Mind you I’m now a middle to late aged father test driving SUV’s not a Hellcat or similar High Performance vehicle so I’d hope that they’d
