I don’t know how rural you’ve gone but I will say when being in the depths of upstate NY or parts of Vermont, a moonless night on a back road is freaking dark place to be. I’m happy to use my highbeams on them. Otherwise I’d generally agree with you.

hmm, my 1991 Audi V8 Quattro was limited to 155mph. I believe it was mainly due to some gentlemen agreement in Germany back then to limit the cars but I know the tires were a limiting factor too.

For the CX9 the CC2 server their purpose well. Handling is actually better than the factory tires ever were so I’m good. Plus this is the wife’s DD and our road trip car so they’re appropriate for use IMHO.

It’s 1983 and I’ve got my newly minted license. DWI check points start becoming a thing in Northern NJ where I grew up because, well alot of us dumb teens were driving drunk, crashing and occasionally dying! Forget about our parents who were “buzzed” after a night of hanging with friends & family.
