That’s certainly rural enough! i like feeling better!
I don’t know how rural you’ve gone but I will say when being in the depths of upstate NY or parts of Vermont, a moonless night on a back road is freaking dark place to be. I’m happy to use my highbeams on them. Otherwise I’d generally agree with you.
So you’ve met my wife you say? She is all local which is all gas then all brake, rinse and repeat. I usually do the long haul highway stuff.
Definitely!
Yeah, I know they were jointly designed as a platform but from what I understand they all went their own unique (understatement) ways. I always liked the way the Saab looked but never got a chance to drive one. I have driven the 164's and it was really nice.
Continuing my Alfa Romeo trend from the 80's car revival I’d say Alfa 164 class with its gorgeous 32valve Busso V6 was underrated, though most Auto journalist loved it. When the 164 came out in Europe in the late 80's and then to us in 1990, it was top of the range over the outgoing 75/Milano and offered a whole host…
Gen 2 Probe GT was a really nice car. I test drove one while shopping for a new car back then and it was just out of my price range but it felt as nice as my friends Nissan 240sx. Loved the V6.
good to hear
hmm, my 1991 Audi V8 Quattro was limited to 155mph. I believe it was mainly due to some gentlemen agreement in Germany back then to limit the cars but I know the tires were a limiting factor too.
For the CX9 the CC2 server their purpose well. Handling is actually better than the factory tires ever were so I’m good. Plus this is the wife’s DD and our road trip car so they’re appropriate for use IMHO.
of course!
It’s 1983 and I’ve got my newly minted license. DWI check points start becoming a thing in Northern NJ where I grew up because, well alot of us dumb teens were driving drunk, crashing and occasionally dying! Forget about our parents who were “buzzed” after a night of hanging with friends & family.
I’m sure both of those interviewed and probably the 40yo baby are all wearing MAGA hats today....
Just ditched our factory tires that were on our 2020 CX9 for Michelin Crossclimate 2. The old ones were just on the cusp of tread depth being too shallow but those tires with only 26K miles of local driving had given up the ghost. The vehicle was “loose” as in the tire sidewalls were showing cracking at the the bead…
They aren’t surfing the tops of the train to evade a fare. They’re up there for the likes and of course the thrill.
better options for sure
