Its seems that the Fey/Poehler jokes hit home and she DID spend “me” time by creating her squad. So maybe she did benefit from some introspection at the behest

I hear you. I’ll usually wait a day for the non local drives with the hopes that those idiots will have naturally shed their mounds of snow. Tractor trailers are the biggest culprits and I do believe there are some truck stops that have something like headache bars that will clear the snow off the roof.

I think NY/NJ has it as a law too but like with all laws, if it isn’t enforced people ignore it.

correct.  When I googled what was introduced in 1966 there weren’t many truly new models.

1966 - Chevy introduces the Camaro and Dodge the Charger. Camaro in it’s 6cyl version is a lot of meh with great styling. The Charger is the first gen and again, interesting styling but wasn’t that successful and that was ultimately replaced by the Gen 2 with much better/iconic styling.

I love me the GM B-Body whales with their Vista Roofs but the OG is the 65 Vista Cruiser with a split Vista glass and side roof glass. I’m actually partial to the 68 as that’s the one I grew up in though.

Post Apocalypse wanna be Art.

the video says that they did in fact swap to the later model into the show’s run.  I didn’t recall that but seems to be correct.  It also tells you that the color was custom made and is not a GM color.  And the cars weren’t really Espirits, but debadged Formula’s which were better set up performance wise for the

thank you! I used to watch a lot of World Wide of Sports to see the races. Being in Northern NJ I don’t think we had as much coverage as you might have but if I wasn’t watching it, me and my brother would be dueling it out with our slot cars.

indeed ! 24hr 7day NASCAR wall to wall.

June 83 I get my license. Buddy gets his a week later. The 2 of us plus another friend all jump on the Palisaides parkway and proceed to race each other. I’m following my friend driving his 75 Firebird, I’m in my 76 Capri and my newly minted driver buddy is in his 6cyl Maverick following me. We hit nearly a hundred

That show was great to watch as a kid. Once I got my license in 83 I tried to do a “Rockford move” as we’d call it and found its a tough thing to pull off and I had a manual, he did it with an automatic!

I understand, but back in the 70's the NASCAR moniker (in my memory) was less prevalent and we used to just refer to it as Stock Cars before NASCAR becoming the defacto name. NASCAR in the 80's 90's was the business that started to saturate all markets, hell I even had NASCAR themed checks! You remember that Tide, M&M

One could argue that the result of this movie was Talladega Nights which was a good thing.

The whole street take over crap mentality is just assignee. I see it start with the middle schoolers out on their big rippers dancing with cars on the street then graduating to bikes/quads and ultimately cars. The who gives a F mentality is taking over.

I’m in my late 50's now and haven’t been pulled over in donkey’s years BUT the years after my initial licensure and about aged 30 I had a lot of time sitting with the flashing lights behind me. Yes I was a flagrant speeder having gotten two tickets in one month at the exact same location... yeah I wasn’t too smart. So

Hot water would be totally assinine, but maybe cold tap water which is generally at 55 degrees, on a 30 degree day wouldn’t necessarily shatter the glass. I still wouldn’t do it but you could actually pour windshield washer fluid on too without worry.

Saw one in person in Fort Lauderdale at the Hotel I was staying in. The car is a behemoth! It was in an unfortunately bland bronze/gold/beige color that did it no favors. In fact the all black Rolls Cullinan parked next to it seemed to be almost dwarfed by it. And Rolls being known for their quiet interiors means
