Tesla owner here. This method does indeed suck. I could see how they might want something a little more involved than a screen button tap to avoid accidently selecting the wrong thing but with minimal iconography telling you what its for and how to operate it its a bit stupid. For such an important feature it should…
So it drew a dick, then got stuck in the mouth of the Suez and there aren’t enough seamen with enough thrust to push it out. And the longer it’s in there, the more screwed we are...
A major computer manufacturer I worked for years ago let go a software engineer. He cleared out his desk, but stuck a sign on a busted up laptop that said “DO NOT SHUTDOWN”. We figured he had a good reason to put the sign there, so we left it alone. There were several old laptops and desktops around the office with…
Agreed about the Citroen. First thing I thought of when reading this list. The Saxo VTS is a car I’d love to own, even today. It’s one of the best, if not the best, cheap low weight hot hatches of the 90s. Clean ones are appreciating in value quite a lot already.
The ‘Rover 800' pictured is actually the smaller Rover 400 Tourer. A version of this car was actually the fastest Rover made with it’s 2.0 litre turbo 16 valve Rover development of what started out as the old MGB ‘B’ Series. Power limited to preserve the Honda-based PG1 gearbox.
Hey you take that back about the Scenic. It was the best way to drive around five adults comfortably in a car you could park in a European city and it started a whole vehicle segment in Europe.
Honestly? Nothing. It’s more the fact that people who are trans rarely have an opportunity to look at a major sport and see someone like themselves represented. There is zero advantage, so the argument that there is an non-level playing field as a result of her inclusion is out the window.
Good luck finding one that isn’t 90% rust. Those plastic arch extensions trap water and gunk and then the whole car rots. And Ford of the ‘90s didn’t have the best reputation when it comes to rust...
Top trivia: the Ka's party trick is to rust around the fuel cap.
It was definitely a better car than Renault’s silly Twingo.
Yeah there’s very little mentioned about the gearbox, so I assume it must have been the most conventional part of the car.
This is why nobody says the future is exciting anymore.
It’s either all buried in restrictive regulation and bureaucracy because daily life needs order and cost control, or it’s entirely digital and thus not a tangible thing you can aspire to.
When I was a kid I was promised cars with giant panes of glass for a ceiling…
I don’t have any idea about this Cressida, but my wife and I saw the Bee movie on dvd was $2 at Walmart right before Christmas. Our son would quote the movie at random times trying to be funny. We decided (we are assholes, btw) it would be funny to buy every copy at all the Walmart’s in the city and wrap each one…
bwahaha, I thought those were just a bunch of mens hair color kits
Jason, this clearly states FOR ADULTS
I went through a period of time when, Monday to Friday, I drove a RHD car in a LHD market and then at weekends drove a LHD car in a RHD market.
Because the UK and Aus are the lands of the free.
They’d have a lot less to do if stores got around to fixing the bag sensors. I swear, if I have to listen to a terminal ask me to remove items from my completely empty paper bag one more time...
Or, the better refined, Elon.
