I should point out that many of those ladies are only there for the press days to titillate the egos of the journos and bloggeonly on the pleb days they're almost conspicuous by their absence, with the exception of the lady with the Corvettes and a few other "gatekeepers" on some of the higher-end manufacturer stands.

Agreed, but sadly the one in the photo is technically a saloon :-( There were some hatchback versions of the saloon built though, like the Wood & Pickett one(s?) for Ringo Starr.

The full article in Classic & Sportscar is well worth reading if you can locate a copy. They basically stripped the car right back to it's components and completely rebuilt it which makes its £900,000 price tag a bit of a bargain compared with "used" F1s.

At this point I must disagree - I love the original Twingo and gave serious thought to importing one to the UK.
