You can get a wool (and “sustainable” leather) interior on the i3. Also Jags in the 80's used to have wool seats if you bought the poverty spec model.

But who would NOT want a turbo in a Mini, even a Clubman estate!!

Oh that’s a good idea, I’ve seen Mini’s with other 4 cylinder engines, like Honda CRX etc, but they are always a tight squeeze. A 3 cylinder, being shorter than a 4, would mean less cutting of the engine bay to fit the end on gearbox etc and leave more space for better cooling and AC etc.

Well aren’t you just a big bloody fun killer!!! lol

I agree with all this!

I’ve never liked Subarus styling nor their interiors, always felt low rent to me. Also never been impressed by any I have driven and that includes the new (then) WRX Prodrive Impreza my mate had back in the day. Also they make a dreadful noise when people (even Prodrive) put “performance” exhausts on them.

No mention of the fact that it is also de-seamed and apparently has had lots of added structure put in to help you not die as quickly in an accident.

I love it as well, it’s like I was finally able to breath out after being so apprehensive about the whole thing. My only (slight) issue is with Rory but I think as he settles in it he will be good.

Auto with flappy paddles and hill descent control, come at me bro!!

Ok I have to ask, do we know if he was, you know a johnny foreigner? I only ask as surely no person born and raised in the UK with ANY type of British drivers license (let alone an HGV one) could not know that this is not an ok thing to do?

We call them either spring onions or salad onions, mostly spring onions though.

How are they allowed to get away with this in the land of the free?

We picked up our brand new i3 yesterday, it is the future. (I still love our Seat Leon 1.8tsi though!).

Listen Yankee (I don’t care which part of Amercia you’re from, you’re all Yanks to us!), it’s a box full of gears, hence gearbox. What the hell does transmission mean anyway?

Oh and I’ve driven an MG 1300 as well, belonged to old neighbour and it was bright orange and immaculate. Was running rough, my dad had me take it for an “Italian tune up” after fiddling around with to try and get it running correctly, me screwing the nuts off it for an hour and copious amounts of Redex had it

I very early series 1 Land Rover owned by one of my brothers mates who had done a ground up restoration on it, think it was a 1949\50 model. It was an interesting thing to drive!

Meh, we never got the Eclipse in Europe so I have no emotional response to this.

It takes about 30 mins to do an 80% charge at aDC fast public charging station. We’ve got an i3 on order (being built right now), it will do about 90% of the journeys we need it to on a single charge, then we have the choice of public fast charging or one of the many (in the UK) destination chargers. I admit we also

Give the Camry four more inches of ride height and bigger tires and call it the Camry Cross Country?

I’ve got some gloves that do work with capacitive touch screens, can use my phone, tablet, in car touch screen etc with them!
