This was going to be my most expensive NP ever, then I saw the interior pic and was a little bit sick in mouth (not nice when you’re eating lunch!). That dashboard and center console have no business being in this car, it’s ruined. Massive smoking CP.

Are the inspectors not certified and regulated there? In the UK every car 3 years and older requires a yearly MOT inspection, it’s pretty thorough, most people feel it’s necessary and I personally have never had an MOT inspector try and rip me off. I really don’t get the whole “what about the poor people” thing, no

In Essex, who would have guessed!

Simple (for those of us not in the US), a Seat Leon Cupra 290 ST with a decent set of winter tyres for the colder months.

I seem to remember Mercedes using the excuse that they didn’t think it was going to be economically viable, for their mid-sized\priced cars, to design them to accept straight sixes with the ever more stringent crash regulations. Seems everyone must have all that down now so straight sixes for everyone!

It’s cool, old, rare and I like it. I know it’s pricey but it’s in great condition and Friday (afternoon for me) so I’m going NP!

It will be to do with regulations, prob here in Europe, about brake lights being visible when transporting items with the boot open I would think and them being too cheap to put secondary ones inside the opening like Audi, Opel etc do.

I've been thinking exactly the same thing!

Neutral: How Does VW ‘Rebrand’?

That is probably true yes but that isn’t what he said, I just pointed out that there are many sub 6 second 0-60 fwd cars in the world. Also I’m sure with the right traction control systems, tyres, suspension and power, you could easily get a 4k +lb fwd road car to it in less than 6 seconds.

LOLWUT?? The Leon Cupra 290 and it’s competitors would like a word with you, you may not get them in the US, but there are plenty of well sub 6 second 0-60 cars in the world!

I never used to like 911's much until a couple of years ago at a track day event to drive disabled kids around a track in very fast cars sort of event (my eldest nephew is disabled), which my brother invited me to. One guy had a 997.5 Turbo S in which I experienced off the line acceleration unlike anything I ever had

Not even if it was immaculate with 10k on the clock and half the price, massive smoking CP!

One of my brothers mates had a Chevette HSR in pretty much full on rally spec engine wise, 911 (in fact pretty much everything) eater, so much noise, much fun!

Why the hell would anyone want a Rover 214 or SD1 with the 2.6!?!?!

It's lovely, really amazingly good condition but no Alfa made in the last 40 years is worth that many freedom dollars, CP

I hope not for all of your sakes, they sell them over here in the UK and they are most un modern Ford looking shit boxes ever, very awkward looking, really cheap and nasty interiors etc. In spite of the const adverts on the radio from various Ford dealers that you can get a brand new EcoSport for the price of a new

Give the Audi time!!

Sooo either Audi have really picked up their game in the couple of years since all my friends Audis were made or Lexus has had some major drop of in quality (making their cars out of recycled loo roll and double sided sticky tape?), in other words CR have just proved that they know jack shit and everything they say is

It's in amazing condition, really probably a one off but not at the price no, sorry but it's just not, even taking into account that my first proper boyfriend had one (in red) and I have a lot of fond memories of that Tercel! CP
