They will be alloys though.
They will be alloys though.
It's a great looking car and it's lasted this long so it's got to be worth a punt, NP I say!
Florida and driving a pickup, colour me surprised!
Why thank you, erm I think!
It’s not the fact of what they are, they do make great power in a decent sized package, but just peoples instance on sticking them where they don’t belong, in MX 5’s, this Lexus (it had a straight 6 for fucks sake!) and in Porsche’s and BMW’s (those people especially should be flogged, you either want a BMW or Porsche…
I’ve driven many V8’s, including great big American ones, they are good in the appropriate vehicle but not really my cup of tea and removing a straight 6 for one is heresy as far as I’m concerned.
I’m sorry but I don’t get a hardon from V8’s, I prefer silky smooth straight 6’s or rev happy screaming 4’s.
I love how I own a car that is always appearing on Jalopnik, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!
Why do so many Americans think that every car can be improved by sticking a bloody big pushrod V8 in it, because it doesn't, it often ruins it as in this case! CP
One of my friends had a Polo with the Ronal Bear alloys on it, unfortunately it wasn't a Harlequin edition (they did a Polo one here in Europe) but they were the best alloys ever in the world!
I do kind of agree with this, we've got a Citroen DS4 as well, the Abarth is the town\fun car, the DS4 our car for long journeys and my partners daily hack (he has to drive to lots of meetings all over the place).
Plus is more expensive and doesn’t have the same grin factor, and the FiST looks wrong with those 2 extra doors!
I can get my mountain bike in the boot with the seats down and the front (quick release) wheel off, can’t that in an MX5, I can fit a weekly shop or more in the boot as well, plus I can carry 3 extra human beings at the same time, can’t do that in an MX5 either!
I did some research into them before buying, I knew I wanted one from the moment I saw my first one. The test drive just sealed it, my partner says I didn’t grinning the whole time we were out in it!
I love my Abarth 500 soooo much it hurts, I find myself ignoring faults with it’s design and build quality (and tbh it's reliable and the low quality interior is due to it being based on a cheap economy car, at least the interior has some design flair!) that in other cars I’ve had would have had me trading them in…
Me too, I actually look forward to driving to and from work since I’ve had mine, always grinning like a Cheshire cat!!
ok, that's a saloon you moron!
Hahahaha!! Erm no, CP.
I think the fix for USDM VW's with the 2.0tdi engine is going to be to rip out said tdi and replace it with the 1.4tsi engine, it has similar performance............. lol
I avoid public transport like the plague for this very reason, Uber is as far I go!
