Was syndicate a Ps4 xbox one era game? Or are the graphics ps3 xb360 level?

Huge bummer that Syndicate isn’t included. I recently played Origins and Valhalla, but I had a hankering for the older style games (I've played AC2, Brotherhood, and Black Flag) and Syndicate seemed to be the most interesting.

It just leaves me wondering whether the people that believe there’s still a grind have actually played any of them from the 3DS onwards. They gave you like two starters plus a Lucario in X/Y and it only kept getting easier from there.

Right? Its weird how many people complain about the grind in Pokemon yet imo its nowadays in no way a grindy, but maybe some people just view it as a necessity no matter what. Old games sure could be a bit grindy at times, but not the newer ones.

There’s not usually a need to grind in Pokemon. The games are usually balanced such that you become OP pretty quickly. The the relatively recent advent of placing the wild Pokemon out in the world instead of making them invisible, random encounters makes it even easier to avoid grinding.

More I hear about Scarlet/Violet the more it sounds like a spinoff

Then don’t use it. It’s optional.

This doesn’t change how you explore new areas, it’s just a new way to automatically train one Pokemon at a time while you’re doing what you’re doing. Considering the Exp Share has existed since gen 1 and the Daycare since gen 2, both to allow automatic training, it doesn’t feel like this changes much.

No, I know that. I’m saying that with two games called “Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu” and “Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee”, a feature that is (AFAIK) entirely unrelated to those games called “Let’s Go” seems confusing.

This is just a EV version of putting a Pokémon in the daycare.

So is the Let’s Go Pokemon (confusing name tbh) unavailable for other battles? Like if I send my lead Pokemon to some tall grass and then I go in the opposite direction, I assume that means that they won’t be able to partake in any trainer or wild battles that I encounter myself?

“I’m playing Pokémon, not a JRPG,”

I’m a huge fan of the Switch--it’s the first console I’ve actually owned since the 360 because I mostly prefer to use the PC, but I just had to spend the money on this one. That said, I will never pass up an opportunity to complain about the bizarre decision to finally add folders, and not let us put them on the main

Folders really should be a standard feature when consoles launch in this digital age. It was surprising when the Switch launched without them, and even more so with the PS5. I was prone to thinking it was a COVID-related delay, but it took nearly as long to be added to the PS5 as it did to the PS4. It just doesn’t

And here on year 6, the Switch still doesn’t have proper folders (yes we now have Groups, but not on the main screen ugh)

You are an actual soulless ghoul devoid of any empathy and I hope you are sent back to the greys.

That’s a pretty scummy take and 10x more shameful than anything you are half ass accusing these grieving friends and family of. Absolutely reprehensible and shameful. The only pass you get is the clear as day reality that anger must be part of YOUR process. You should practice directing that better.

I don’t cry when celebrities die. I don’t even really cry when friends and family die. This was a fucking tough read. RIP, buddy.

What I’ll remember most about him as a reader wasn’t simply the warmth or fun, but how he’d just cover anything and everything that took his interest. Just clicking on his kinja account now to see his most recent posts is just a cacophony of different topics and items that he was either roped into and found his little

Absolutely the best Kotaku employed. Heavy heart this weekend.
