The only good thing about slideshows are that you can press play on each video, and the audio continues to stack, forming a category five auditory assault.

If it means that they’re going back to large dense cities instead of the typical open world openness of Origins, Odyssey, etc. then I am so down.

Yeah if this is the size of one of Valhalla’s DLC expansions, that would be ideal. The maps were smaller in those and they didn’t overstay their welcome...though I still didn’t fully finish the second DLC, because by that point the game as a whole had overstayed its welcome—I’d already played like 120 hours just to

This. I’m cautiously excited. Even for “Infinity”!

Assassin’s Creed Revelations was mostly in Constantinople which is now known as Istanbul.

How are you any better?”

Easily. Being homophobic and criticizing someone for being homophobic are not equal.

This is a bad take.

Imagine being so full of hate that you sit down and spend the time to design a mod that removes a flag you do not like in a game. Its some real “angry incel in their moms basement” level energy

It’s funny that the people who call others sensitive snowflakes are the ones getting upset over colored bars on a flag to the extent they have to mod them out.

Real “you calling out my racism makes you the *real* racist” energy.

I mean this isn’t exactly the same as modding out spiders in Skyrim or Darksiders.

Now playing

they just put freaking in that trailer, in the original trailer she said motherfuckin. it don’t sound as cringy in there

Again, the dialogue in the new trailer was taken directly from a previous trailer. If the dialogue itself is the problem and context is irrelevant, why did the previous trailer not garner the same controversy as this one..?

How is the dialogue obnoxious? She’s talking to a sassy magical clothing item about an unbelievable situation. It’s an absurd scenario which begets the incredulous response by the protagonist. In addition, this exact same dialogue was taken from the original story trailer which didn’t spark any controversy so why the

Eh, it’s easier to jump on the meme bandwagon than spend 2 minutes doing research. It’s a bit surprising that Kotaku and other gaming media outlets are seemingly oblivious to the game’s premise or the original story trailer, though. I’d expect more from them.

I watched this and man, I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around the overreactions

I actually.... Kind of liked it? It was different, a bit engaging, and while not laugh out loud funny, at least wasn't taking itself too seriously. Better than a lot of stodgy trailers, that's for sure.

......It looks like a fun game. Amusing. Doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Yeah, I know everyone is entitled to their opinion and that’s fine, but I honestly don’t see a goddamn thing wrong with this trailer. It’s no cheesy than any other trailer I see out there.

I’m not shocked that one of the very few big budget games starring a woman of color has been getting negative press since its reveal. Protect black women.

I honestly never got the hate on this game. It looks fire to me, and I definitely will be playing it day one.

Doesnt seem any worse than the writing for HZD.

This is a picture of two ravens, not two crows! You can tell because their beaks have feathers at the top and are more curved like a hook in front.
