It is intellectually criminal how games aren’t archived in the same way as books and music. We take for granted how we can read and listen to anything that was ever recorded. Could you imagine being unable to get a book because the publisher just doesn’t want to make it available anymore? “Sorry, no more copies of Haml

Absolutely! They’re the definitive versions of the games. OoT has that Master Quest, too.

We do have Mario. Sorta. It’s currently split between Nintendo Online and the 3D All-Stars collection. Similar for Donkey Kong.

I like this idea, except...no one really wants the original OoT or MM *dodges tomatoes* No seriously! You don’t. The 3DS versions are superior for the various QoL changes alone. Consider: the Water Temple forever scarred an entire generation+ of gamers because of a shitty interface. No one needs that back in their

Booooo timeline, booooo.

To be honest, I will forever be spiteful towards the ambassador program because of how they made those games absolutely exclusive. I get keeping them exclusive for a year. Hell, maybe even five years. But eventually they should have been made available to everyone for a cost.

God forbid people have different opinions.

AC: Valhalla with HDR is even worse. It gives you a random small picture of Stonehenge and asks you to set the luminance (in units of Cd/m2, of course) and exposure. I have no idea what those things mean and the picture doesn’t help.

This is a good point. History says he and Cesare got super sick after a feast and Rodrigo died as a result. But in the game Rodrigo is murdered by his son after being force-fed a poison apple meant for Cesare.

Ah, the last of the classic Assassin’s Creeds, and one I enjoyed a lot (in part because it’s a really good recreation of central London).

In part because you don’t assassinate him, as he’s still alive for most of Brotherhood.

Donkey Kong Country 3 as my nostalgia tour wraps up (I’m at KAOS Core). Also still into Bravely Second. I’ll also spend time with SM3dW; I’m close to the final standard world, which means HELL is looming around the corner.

Ha! Well, since the plot needs them to die I guess some elements were unfixable.

I really wanted to like this game. But I play on stealth, so I make mistakes and do a lot of reloading, and GOD DAMN do the load times suck (PS4). So that was a deterrent.

How is this real.

They fixed this in the GOTY/Ultimate/Extended/Directors Cut/whatever Edition. Never had the time to check it out.

Everyone keeps saying Tron, but folks how is this not WB’s take on Kingdom Hearts? Fish-out-of-water protag gets sucked into a universe of characters of a major media producer to save his loved one; big bad inside this universe wants something important to the protag (Instagram followers...?); protag has to make a
