“I Believe I can Fly” was TOO MUCH for that movie. R. Kelly you did not need to go that far for a story about MJ and some cartoons.

And the UI! Best UI in a Pokemon game, and excellent use of the second screen. 

Oh yeah, I hope they don’t do the bad Link’s Awakening thing and visually remake the game without adding any meaningful new content. There’s a reason why HGSS is so beloved, and why I’ve recently come to the decision that ORAS is the best Pokemon game to-date (and I’m a huge HGSS fan!) FRLG is pretty good too.

It’s hard to not compare this to the Link’s Awakening remake, which executed upon the same idea—a modern twist on the original visual style—but better. Link’s Awakening was polished and looked (and sounded!) like a Switch game. This just looks cheap, like a mobile phone game. Please let the final build look better.

The joke being, Gamefreak isn’t the Zelda dev team. I don’t know how much I trust GF to pull this off but I’m excited to see where it could go.

I dunno if I will be playing this weekend. I’ve been reading all of Hickman’s Marvel run and I’m so close to Time Runs Out before the big Secret Wars finale. But I got sidetracked with Avengers World and then I got into various games, so I really need to get back on track. Good news is I finished Avengers World this…

It’s weird, right, because turn-based Pokemon has been a competitive thing for decades. I get what you’re saying, but this would fundamentally be a different thing unless Gamefreak wants to officially kill what they’ve built over the past 25 years. It would be like Capcom making Street Fighter text based instead.
