I’m playing it for the first time after just finishing M64 (for the 10000th time), and let me tell you, given that contrast this is welcome jank.

I almost finished the story and didn’t even know this was a thing.

It’s a race to the, uh, to the I don’t even know! But it’s not good!

I kinda wish they do it in two more parts at most and release them like next year and the year after. Stick to a real schedule and don’t go the way of...well, of Square-Enix. Dammit.

Can it possibly be worse than fighting the camera to get certain stars/coins in Mario 64? I don’t remember Tick Tock Clock being that much of a nightmare...geez.

Yeah, it’s funny, my FF7 conditioning tells me things are about to wrap up for Midgar, so I’m at the endgame. But I should have learned by now that with FF7R, this is gonna be a much more expansive thing. I’ll still have plenty of time with these characters.

So I’ve heard. Which is why I’ll give up leveling up these weapons and materia for now, knowing I can do that on a second runthrough.

I get them almost spontaneously. After almost two years migraine free I’ve had two in 2020. Figures, since it’s 2020.

Played through the original countless times.

Migraines suck. I hope they don’t totally torment you this weekend.

Hello folks. It’s been awhile for me in this thread. Hope everyone’s keeping well.

Why’d you have to remind me that he did that :(

But Harry Potter in-universe is a scrawny white kid with messy black hair and glasses. His character is fully described by his singular creator. In contrast, gods have no one author and are very rarely described consistently. Many of them are even portrayed as shape shifters.

Reminds me of when people complained about Idris Elba playing Heimdall, “Because Heimdall was white!” No, actually, Heimdall wasn’t anything because he was a fictional character who never existed. And yeah, given that in-universe he’s a god who sees everything, why wouldn’t he change his form based on the multitude of

I get you. I do, totally. However, weirdly enough, I don’t see the police or “bad guys” in the game as parallels for real-life cops or incarcerated people at all. In my head, the police in Spider-Man’s world are generally good people trying to navigate a world with supervillains and super-gangsters who far outclass

This doesn’t negate OP’s point at all. Just because a game was gimmicky doesn’t mean it wasn’t a killer app at launch. Wii Sports—along with Twilight Princess—moved consoles. People lined up in the cold to have a chance at getting a Wii to play Wii Sports. And given how hyped and absolutely massive Breath of the Wild

Nintendo is definitely a different story.

I may preorder one to hold my spot in line, but I was only gonna do it for Miles Morales. But with that coming out for PS4 do I need to upgrade the hardware now? Hell, for the PS4 I waited until InFamous came out because that’s the game I really wanted to play and it got pushed out of the launch window.

I think it’s both. No one knew the Wii was gonna be what it was. But then you have Nintendo being like “LOL the S/NES Classic and Mario 3D All-Stars are gonna be arbitrarily limited edition!
