iirc it was primarily for nostalgia value, since you were at the cite of Ezio’s villa in AC2. Kinda cool seeing it in modern day. Probably mostly reused assets from the dev side.

Oh. That’s...disappointing.
> Revelations’ Modern Day
Database entries are super educational! And even in Black Flag where they make shit up, they acknowledge that in the entry (e.g. the Queen’s Staircase at Nassau). In fact I knew zip about the Golden Era of Piracy until that game, and it encouraged me to wiki stuff to learn more.
Tbh the modern day story was a big reason I played these games. There were some brilliant, brilliant things in AC2 and Brotherhood.
> /s (I debated whether or not this part was necessary)
I mean Assassins in-universe. Bayek created the Order back in Origins, which is like 50 BCE.
They’re murderous but educational romps through history! Hey, at least this game takes place after the founding of the Order, so the protagonist could indeed be an Assassin.
But, but of course there were female vikings. The vikings were a people, and women are people.
Rogue was interesting and I really liked Syndicate. Haven’t gotten that far in Origins, but one day...
Amazing the Wii sold as well as it did despite not having HD visuals. Nintendo’s really lucky the control scheme and its killer apps were the draws they were.
My advice is: keep your weekday and weekend routines separate! It helps to prevent the days from blobbing into each other. On the weekdays I get up by 9am and work until the evening (with breaks for food and a workout), and on weekends I sleep in and do a bunch of random stuff: games, reading, etc.
For the most part, I meant aesthetically weird. I wish they more smoothly worked that visual link to Majora into the boss design. Like geez, that giant eye breaking out of Goht’s back feels tacked on. And it’s freaky as hell too.

3DS version, mainly for the graphical upgrade and quality of life improvements.
Quite a bump!
Yup. And you’re keenly aware of how you can’t help them every loop AND do everything else. It’s brutal. And aren’t there missions that require you to start their quests and not finish it?
Playing the Song of Time after reuniting Anju and Kafei is so damn brutal. You do all this work to bring them together only for it to be undone in a few seconds time. Even more so because the two of them are very present throughout Clock Town.
Yup, after playing the 3ds version this cemented itself as my favorite Zelda game. Its themes of loss, and mortality, and the importance of the little things resonated with me much more than they did when I was little.
Wow, the PS4 version didn’t have the license reset? That’s dumb. Happy I abandoned it early and picked it up later on Switch. Being able to shuffle boards was really useful in the early game.
