Man there’s a whole lot of dubious takes going in these comments, and I can’t respond to them all, so I’m gonna try to respond to the two big pillars.

“The controls were always bad, even back then!”
The default controls for the vast majority of 90s shooters were tank controls. Doom’s keyboard controls out of the box

Man I don’t care about this at all. Chris sounds fine, just like everyone else using their normal voice, like Luigi and Peach. Yeah it woulda been great if they kept Charles, I won’t disagree with that. But the criticism of Chris’s performance is way overblow given the scant few trailer lines we’ve gotten. If the

The mines I built were more an exercise in what could I generate than what I needed to generate.”

Meanwhile I’m sitting on PS5 wishing for gyro support like they have on switch.

I had no idea there was this achievement in Alyx. An excellent excuse for another replay!

Asking the real questions. I think this achievement will be easier than flat screen, because you have 2 hands to hold stuff in VR. You can more casually carry him along in one hand while clearing stuff with 1 handed weapons, only setting him aside when you need to use 2 handed weapons.

I finished my playthrough of HL2 VR and honestly teared up a little, it was that satisfying. I forgot just how special this game was. I’m now doing a second playthrough on hard mode. Bless these devs so much, and my only wish is that this wasn’t so rare. Let’s have more VR games!

1080 ti here, I feel like this is my last video card. With prices like this how can I ever upgrade?

Excuse me I’m gonna stop ya’ll for a second...

Can we get pre-alpha thicc Jesse Faden in the final game, please?

Thanks for making this reply, I was about to. Honestly the author cant even name a half dozen? Pikachu shock face.jpg. Also the other aspect where PSVR2 is going to be many folks very first VR headset, so it’s not like they’re people who may have played that game before on another platform.

It’s interesting to see different online communities respond differently to similar mechanics. There is a matchmaking-like mechanic in an online game I play, and if you leave you get a 30 minute penalty. It’s been there for years and everyone in the community understands that its there. There’s busy people and

I rediscovered my cart a few years ago, it was just as fun as I remember. I’ll replay parts of the game now and then to blow off steam.

Hugely excited by this. Fingers crossed on the emulation and controller schemes they build into the game. Its also going to be fun to compare NSO and Game pass versions.

What I’m really hoping for a remapping of the 2.1 control scheme where the sticks are swapped to be the modern layout. That one specifically because

Orbs, you say?

I just wanna say I enjoyed reading your post with all of it’s insider jargon and abbreviations. Just love it.

I hope devs keep exploring low framerate compensation and give us 40fps caps like we see in ratchet and clank on PS5. It’s great to see so many tools in the toolbelt now devs just need to use them.

I hope your right! Matrix Awakens demo could forecast a world where Unreal 5 games using nanite and lumen are all 30fps on PS5 and Series X.

Every console is capable of 60fps, but the marketing allure of ubergraphics cause teams to push visuals as far as they can go. The business necessity of publishing games on Last gen (ps4/xbone) in addition to current gen made it easier to create “performance mode” options because the game engine and assets were

If the end of the cross gen period means we’ll see less of 60 FPS games on current gen, then frankly I’ll miss this period. Graphics today are already stunning. I don’t want to go back to 30fps on console.

It feels like one of those “peace of mind” things. I seldom ever undock my switch, and mobile gamers seldom ever dock it. But we’re both comforted in knowing we could if we wanted to.
