His mother had to be called to the scene though. No one is alleging any violence toward this 14 year old by the police. This seems like a routine pickup of a minor and release at the station, the kid was not in any danger.

Sooo, according to police, the kid was drunk on a bus and the cops were called and he was going to be taken to the station to be released to his parents. No one is alleging the police wrongly used force on the kid. The crowd blocked the police cruiser from taking the kid to the station.

I agree what this guy did was terrible, but like wishing a human to be tortured (which is what Mugabee is notable for) isn't really a great response. Jail sure, but not torture.
