Well that fucking blows. At least you could come to America, where we welcome immigrants and academi-

Don’t forget the Welsh and Cornish towns who rely on EU funding, and still overwhelmingly voted to leave. Brexit voters are either rich, or properly stupid.

It’s the Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness. Only the rich can afford to build a house that will stand up to a hurricane, and all everyone else can afford to keep rebuilding cheap, flimsy homes over and over again.

The fifth episode of season five is titled “Mortal Khanbat” according to director Caity Lotz on Twitter.”

Absolutely. And that brief incarnation of the Justice League with Dick’s Batman, Supergirl, Donna Troy, Jade, Jesse Quick and Congorilla was fantastic. So, so much storytelling potential there that was thrown away.

I don’t know, but I’m betting Liu Kang wins.

Ludi Lin is playing Liu Kang and Tadanobu Asano is playing Rayden.

I was thinking Lewis Tan would be perfect for Rayden, but that role has been filled. So, Scorpion or Shang Tsung?

Like with Aladdin, it will not be a straight remake of any movie that’s been made before

I feel you man.  I have trouble buying this Chemistry book because it’s the same size as my Math book.

I suspect the point is part 3 is going to end on a some big cliffhanger and the break allows for discussions about theories and the likes to happen. The big problem Netflix shows have is it’s hard for them to really get any buzz as you just don’t have time to think about and discuss theories. Even with CW doing Crisis

it gets cuter and cuter what people complain about

I reckon there will still be a gap between everything after those last two episodes of Crises. Maybe Arrow will keep going since it only has 2 episodes left after the crossover but the other four shows will go back to hiatus status after the crossover. They’ve done it before where they weirdly release one episode

I get it with the HP split - not a necessary or logical one. But with the Marvel split, they really did tell a story that benefitted from being broken into two large sized portions, instead of squeezing it into one. It just wouldn’t have worked. And although they were two parts of one story, they were thematically

We were told that over a month ago! Plenty of time to get used to it. :)

>haven’t seen a marvel movie since Thor: Ragnarok [...] the splitting of the movie story was a stupid move in my opinion.

Uninformed opinion detected. Disregarding.

Has the potential to build anticipation and interest as people talk about it in the mean time. Especially while getting together with family over the holidays.

I’m not sure if you read the full thread (stupid kinja) or are just replying to the bit I said I am not a Marvel movies fan, but the reason why I mentioned it was because I complained that the CW Crisis is going to be split into a month, and someone joked that maybe killing half the characters and doing the second

True, Infinity War and Endgame was originally billed as parts 1 and 2. But while the second was directly tied to the first, they each tell their own story. It isn’t one story chopped into two. Infinity War is Thanos’ story (he has a quests, sets on the quest, and achieves his goal; the movie starts and ends with him).

“Just like splitting Harry Potter’s last book in two, or other similar money grabbing tactics”
