Aside from being stunningly _______, no one's mentioned that this likely uses more than 2.5 gallons per minute.

Not sure how accurate these are, but they're certainly surprising:

I'd like to point out that, if you use twitter, sms, email, or facebook, you can use the free trackthis service to track packages. You don't need an app and you don't have to pay money for the service (although they do take donations). You also don't have to forward your private email messages to anyone, or

You don't need to use the trackthis app, to use trackthis.

LMFAO. Fark (alas, down atm) just had their yearly Thanksgiving horror story thread, and this seems to be the current "winner":

WARNING: if you've ever installed iOS5 and used iMessage, there currently appears to be an issue with purging iMessage off the phone. Basically, even if you wipe the phone and pull the SIM card, the phone can still send messages to your iMessage account (and view your iMessages). Yes, pulling the SIM card doesn't

The macrumors wiki has a slightly out-of-date table that lists the features of each mail access method: [guides.macrumors.com]

For those of you who are sick and tired of yet another single-purpose app, I'll just mention trackthis. It's a free web service that provides package tracking, and sends you notifications via twitter, facebook, SMS, email, or RSS. If you have the appropriate app, you also get push notifications.

Uh, no thanks.

I'm not sure what you're asking. My basic workflow is simple: (1) obtain non-DRM'd epub, (2) put epub into calibre, (3) hit the button to connect calibre to itunes, (4) transfer books to iDevice.

I prefer Keyboard LEDs, as it has an (optional) slightly less discreet popup to tell you when you've hit the caps lock.

In the really bad areas, the mugger's looking for enough to get their fix. If you don't have enough ($40?), they'll beat you (nearly?) dead out of frustration and because you might be holding out on them (could be jewelry, doesn't have to be cash). If you have enough, they'll leave you alone to get their fix. It's

I dumped stanza, once I discovered that Calibre could sync all of my epub books to iBooks via iTunes. Yeah, it's a roundabout method, and requires a USB connection, but it works really well, and iBooks happens to have all of the features that I use (that was a pleasant surprise, as I was expecting a minimally-useful,

Some people are really not that ... knowledgeable ... although I am surprised that LH is catering to them ....

Wat? Again: Wat?

This. Despite all the precautions, your credit card info will get stolen. This has happened to me twice, and it's annoying as h*ll. Once was from using a MAJOR internet retailer, and the other was via a purchase at a local brick-and-mortar store. There isn't much that you can do about dumpster-diving and the like,

Since we're talking about web shows, I'll just mention Mortal Kombat Legacy: [www.youtube.com]
