30 million died in Ukraine during the 1930s when Stalin refused to send food there. Gorbachev admitted this.

And the Chinese embassy, for that matter.

This is my point. If Hitler does not attack the Soviet Union, and if the Soviet Union does not turn around and attack Hitler, the entire war is different.

I read antiwar op-eds daily, so I truly don’t know what you’re talking about, unless you’re only reading Fox News. But most op-eds require a bit of fact to back them up.

You won’t find most of those opinions because those are stupid, conspiratorial opinions devoid of reality.

The problem is, Russia’s idea of a “political process” puts Assad back in charge of the whole country, and that’s never going to happen. Assad has lost all legitimacy to a majority of his citizens.

This is why I still maintain that the Nazis were worse than the Soviets. But the Soviets did a lot of bad stuff, too. So did the Americans and the Brits and the Japanese and the Chinese.

Soviet Union did not exist when Poland was part of Russia.

And there are very specific circumstances under which Russia would nuclear attack the US, too. Russia didn’t nuke Turkey for shooting down its aircraft. And under certain circumstances, the two would go to conventional war without nuclear weapons being used.

So, to quote back your own “knowledge drop”, shooting a police officer in Auschwitz makes one a “terrorist by default”?

If the people of the city are Syrian citizens and don’t WANT to be “liberated” by the Syrian Army, how is that verbiage incorrect?

Yes, human life has pretty much always been cheap in Russia.

Yeah, “the Syrian army may be about to capture Aleppo” was not the part I was taking issue with. It was the, “everyone in the international community says the Syrian army will liberate Aleppo from terrorists!” propaganda bullshit that I was taking issue with.

Haha

Well, then I guess we can’t condemn Daesh for beheading people either, since all sides are equally morally right in war.

I mean, maybe our evil propaganda just has better production values than their evil propaganda, but it just seems like so many stupid Russian claims are easily disproven.

We also fought formations, large and small, of uniformed soldiers in open fields, and no, “we” didn’t kill 300,000 Iraqi civilians.

Yes, bombing ISIS trucks was a Russian “innovation” where the US decided avoiding killing civilians wasn’t worth it anymore.

I understand your reasoning; I still maintain that they were “mistakes”, but maybe that’s just semantics. The AC-130 razed the hospital in Kunduz because they were told Taliban fire was coming from it, which ended up being incorrect. So they hit what they were aiming at, but the target wasn’t what they thought it was.
