And there are very specific circumstances under which Russia would nuclear attack the US, too. Russia didn’t nuke Turkey for shooting down its aircraft. And under certain circumstances, the two would go to conventional war without nuclear weapons being used.

The AC-130 razed the hospital in Kunduz because they were told Taliban fire was coming from it, which ended up being incorrect.
