I own one too! Bought new by me, 2003. 4.6L V8 but mine is 4WD. Also had a timing chain issue, but I think the chain drives the oil pump and that was the problem. Engine seized at 146K or so. Had it rebuilt and it now has 192,000 miles. Love it.
I really liked the exhaust note of the Blazer EV in the chase scene.

I went to engineering school because I wanted to work for Ford when I grew up. Now that I’ve been working as a design engineer for 15 years…
Not really on the Livewire. I am not a Harley guy, I like ADV bikes and the PanAm doesn’t appeal to me at all. However, a buddy went and took the course to get his license at a Harley dealer in Massachusetts, so I went down to check it out with him on my Honda Africa Twin.
I refuse to be a luddite, but I also just hate to see internal combustion thrown out. Anyone who claims that EVs are more eco-friendly than a modern ICE is fooling themselves.
Installing them in a vehicle smaller than a Bluebird bus and lighter than a cement mixer might be a good place to start.

You don’t want to fuck up your 84 month/779$ loan though
I knew this was a no dice from the title and price alone. The amazing thing about this truck is that the more you learn about it, the worse it gets. Rock peppering on the front? Check. Prior owner blew up the original engine? Check. High mileage? Yes sir!
Don’t know that the issue is that you are poor, or that you are smart enough to not overextend yourself...
I spotted/heard that. It’s like bike sounds fall into 3 categories for movies:
