Cushion is always a good thing.
Cushion is always a good thing.
This is objectively truly terrible vehicle.
Kinda wild there’s no change to the roofline between this and Taycan. Usually on the VAG “badge-engineered” cars there is a noticeable difference.
Thank the Lord. Most leather interiors on affordable cars are not great. According to some of the journos on here and other outlets, even sub $300k cars fall into the same pot of bad leather.
Japanese plates? Killer photos? Yep, that’s Ken.
The 500 is what they used for the training bikes. I thought it was pretty pleasant, and if I were to buy a Harley right now I think that would be my choice. Not enough power to really get out of hand, but enough to keep up with traffic.
1. Silver over red is a classic and beautiful combination
Also, the rear end of that thing looks like a CRX (to me, at least).
The 143 percent increase in truck horsepower is slightly unnerving. Trucks aren’t just fast for what they are, they’re fast period. Why does a massive GMC Sierra need to get to 60 in 5.5 seconds? That’s 3 tons of weight absolutely flying.
This rules.
That’s bloody brilliant. Alabama doesn’t get too cold temperature wise, but 35 degrees and high humidity chills your bones.
Excellent truck, complete with dog dishes!
I had no clue that the Taurus/Fusion lived on in China. Looking at the press pics, I wish Ford would have made the Fusion look less 2014 and more 2020.
Counterpoint: I could buy 2 junkers per month for $650 and continuously get my heart broken and wallet emptied.
On the exterior - absolutely. On the internals and systems - drastically different from the 1992-2002 MYs.
That’s why Ford’s Advancetrac RSC and GM’s Stabilitrak were such big deals when they came out, especially on the vans. Not perfect by any means, but you don’t hear much about church van rollovers any more.
I would off-load it before the transmission goes. My parents have one right around 200k, trans went at/around 170k. Shift flares, weird low temp noises, etc.
The thing that gets me is you can’t special order whatever you want if other trim levels offer a manual. Like in the case of the Tacoma, if the stick can be optioned in the enthusiast models with the same basic drivetrain as the “luxury” or base models what’s the reason for not having it?
