Star for Tuscaloosa! Sophomore there now. Which neighborhood are you talking about?

Hey! I’m from Huntsville too!

I agree.

I think as a generalization, that’s true. But my Jeep and I have almost been run off the road by soccer moms in Sequoias numerous times. Just today, I got cut off in traffic by an Xterra driven by an older lady.

You’ve also got to take into consideration that a 2017 3 -series GT is a significantly larger vehicle than a ‘67 Mustang or VW Sportback (?). I think that the fastback styling worked on these vehicles because of the design simplicity and size.

Give a kid a 5-star safety rated accord and he’ll drive like an idiot. Give a kid an ‘80s death trap and he’ll learn to value life.

Always remember kids, road rage is not worth:

Mustangs will tell you that a tire is low by how many people you hit

700 miles is unfathomable for me. In my 4 cyl. Jeep, I get 150 miles maybe. I get 16-17 mpg on the highway, but have a 13 gallon tank. I’m looking for a new commuter since I drive 200 miles one way to school, and I really want a TDI, but alas...

True story, although some racers would say, “high sixes” in the case of the GT-R. Perhaps the fault is in the initial writing, but there are many tuner bros who would run a 12.99 would claim it to be a twelve second run.

There’s a big difference in a tenth of a second and a tenth of a minute (6 seconds) which is the only thing I can think of. I am with you on not really understanding it, although I accept that a car that runs a 6.000 second run or a car that runs a 6.999 second run are both 6 second cars. Another case of why decimals

Hmph... maybe if FCA could do their math right, they could be good enough without GM or VW

Many jalops in Tuscaloosa. Hello friends!

In my mom’s ‘02 Explorer with the 4.6, the cruise hardly works. However, if you can get the little cruise control light to turn on and engage, it just goes full throttle. Especially terrifying, since the 4.6 is no slouch with the factory 3.73s.

It’s probably where it ended up. I can’t imagine that it was a functional vehicle.

I remember seeing one in Ford’s design department. My dad worked on site for a supplier in Dearborn and they brought out the Petunia Yellow with black striped GT. It was only a couple months after they revealed it at NAIAS. Super cool experience, and also one of my automotive fantasies.

Supernatural is one that I get frustrated at as well. They have an awesome ‘67 Impala, but sometimes it’s a stick and sometimes an automatic. There are times when it gets wrecked and the characters pull a you and rebuild it outside, always with impeccable panel gaps and body work.

Man I hope you guys don’t think his name is actually Cleetus McFarland. Although, I did know some McFarlands in high school.

Watching this and knowing what type of pain I would be feeling taking 5g of force: that looks like so much fun.

I don’t think 2 year old kids shout “Land Rover Defender 110!” or “Mercedes G-Wagen!” or even “Hummer!” but there have been occasions when I’ve been at the grocery store, or out driving, and a little kid has shouted, “Jeep!” Take a look next time you drive, especially in a city or college campus environment. They’re
