It’s not a “science report,” no, but his Twitter feed does have a large reach and a lot of people take his views seriously and sometimes his jokes (like the Mayan one and the world ending and implying the stupidity/inferiority of non-Western science) are really careless.

He’s not exactly a great astrophysicist either. His career is based almost entirely on science education. Not that that’s unimportant, but it’s something to keep in mind.
