This is the only acceptable way to eat okra and my mind will never be changed.

Not to beat a dead horse, but it’s pretty much accepted that in small towns with few stores, most grocery shopping is done at the local Walmart. At one Walmart close to me, if you want green leaf or romaine, you’re going to be buying these:

Yeah, but I don’t think we’re really talking about the wide array of produce here. It wasn’t completely clear, but my focus was on the availability, primarily, of leafy greens.

I’m simply not comfortable with the idea that simply not eating these things out of a bag is a viable solution because clearly getting them

This isn’t my experience at all. Granted, I live in a somewhat rural area in south Mississippi, but but I’m also equal distance from a few cities that I visit regularly to buy groceries. In the 15 to 25 miles around me there are stores ranging from Walmart to smaller “local” grocery store chains. The only common item

That’s kind of the point, though. That’s really not the case everywhere. Granted, I live in rural south Mississippi. The closest grocery store is roughly 10 miles, but within 25 miles there are at least 10 options. The only guarantee at any of these stores is iceberg. Red leaf, green leaf, and romaine are available in

That only really works as a solution if you live somewhere that offers a large variety of produce, particularly leafy greens, outside of a bag. Unless you’re looking for a head of iceberg lettuce, I don’t think it’s as common as people want to believe it is.

I would be great at running a government, actually. I’d be goddamned fantastic at it for so many reasons, with my ability to not nonsensically compare completely dissimilar things like “jury duty” and “being drafted to fight a war against your will,” being but one of those many reasons.

But, you know, you do you.

That is a thing that I do not think I’d do.

God, I hope that’s a thing I wouldn’t do.

As a dude over 18 who comes from a military family, I know this. I don’t understand why everything I’m saying continues to sail right over your head.

I don’t know how to more clearly state that I don’t need the concept or application explained. I am saying that there is no situation, present or future, where a draft

I am fully aware of the difference and again, I will simply reiterate: I believe everyone should have the choice to serve or not. I do not believe that anyone should be forced to, so yes I would happily eliminate a draft if I could. I do not need to predict the future because no future event or situation would change

And I think you should have the choice to do that, should there be a need.

Likewise, I think anyone who doesn’t want to should also have the choice.

Now playing

I’m always compelled to interject some Buff Dudes videos when it comes to lifting:

Okay, but how does this work, though? The Smashing Pumpkins broke up in 2000 and definitely absolutely never “sort of” got back together and released a lot of mediocre to awful garbage as Billy continued his slow climb into being a completely insane right-wing joke.

That didn’t happen, so they can’t be touring with

I was just about to ask, “Is this one actually good or is it another banana peel trick?”

Well I’m just gosh darn shocked.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that conversation did happen. Mother Teresa was an asshole.

I’m not saying I want Obsidian to make a new Fallout game.

I’m just saying that if Obsidian would make a new Fallout game for Bethesda, that would be a really good thing that should probably happen.

Best mod ever.

I used to get it, but then 13 Hours happened and now I don’t get it anymore. He’s just so..meh.
