Is there anywhere to watch the new 3D Lupin film online yet? Ideally with subs but I can watch it in Japanese if not.

I also thought he was Jewish or white (name, uses an Israeli pistol, doesn’t look Asian compared with other characters in the show), but according to interviews with the original writing staff it was more of a coincident than anything else. It wasn’t until the Netflix announcement that I realized I was in the minority…

I’ve seen cosplayers pull off the costume quite well, so it’s not like it’s impossible, but I can’t really blaming them for wanting her character to look a teeny bit less like a pinup girl.

I’m really excited for this. The original Cowboy Bebop was one of the first anime series that I ever watched and was a huge reason for my initial interest in Japan, which led to me working in Japan and later a MA in Asian Studies.

Didn’t this basically just get remade into Enterprise S3 though? A full season of the ship alone in hostile territory getting increasingly battered and torn apart? I’m skeptical that VOY could have done it any better justice.

I agree completely with your 2nd paragraph. Chakotay just phones it in, and Neelix is a twisted mess of a character. I feel like VOY in seasons 4-6 is a lot of fun. If you just start the show with Scorpion and end it in Lifeline, and I think you can hit about 80% of the highlights and very few of the terrible episodes.

I mean, I clicked on the story myself, but I agree that this is really on the edge of noteworthiness. We’re talking about a brief suspension for a streamer who may be popular but certainly isn’t in the Ninja/DrDisrespect/etc. level of notoriety.

I got all my comics from an aunt that owned a comic book shop (best aunt) who would send me her random overstock stuff. As a kid, I knew Age of Apocalypse was popular because she never sent me any issues from it :P

Woohoo Lupin III is finally back! Looking forward to going through this and one-punch man =) The first ep was solid - I liked the new art designs, even for the Italian insert character.
