I will never not love Bub. I’m a huge cat person and have 4 myself but there was always something magical about Lil Bub and the love between her and her owner.  

I am crushed by this, and I never even got to meet her in person. I can only imagine how devastated her family is.

Bub was one of the most beautiful cats to ever cat.  

She’s had health problems her entire life but she saw her vet on a very consistent basis and I honestly don’t believe her owner would have kept her alive if she were suffering or in pain.  

This headline. Oof. I really loved that sweet little guy, and I’m not even much of a cat person. Seeing this was not a great way to receive the news. I know your brand is snark, but sometimes it doesn’t hurt to consider a little compassion.

Also, she interviewed Michelle Obama.  Lil Bub was a queen!!

Lil Bub will forever be my favorite internet cat to ever live. No other internet cat will ever come close to the magnificence that is Lil Bub. She was a magical cat sent from the universe and had so much to give from such a tiny body. She will continue to be magical and help those special cats less fortunate. Rest…

A generation of internet cats is passing. Honestly, when Maru goes, i might take a personal day. 

This headline seems to be a little flippant/callous.... would “Lil Bub, The Famous Internet Cat, Has Died” not gotten enough clicks? Why go with “This cat is dead”?

Not to mention all the thousands and thousands of animals she helped, raised money for and donated to. Bub and her person did SO much for SO many.

RIP Lil’Bub. You made more people smile than this crusty middle-aged lady ever will.
