Most of the furor over iPhone coverage was more because Giz is constantly fawning over Apple at the expense of other stories in that sector, and many of the people complaining prob also had iPhones and just didnt feel the need to learn about every bullet point whenever there was a Jobs keynote.

I dont really take issue with Martin's depictions in his books... He paints all peoples (though not necessarily individuals) as savage and extremely self-interested... Its hard to consider him a racist when he highlights the most brutal aspects of everyone (ie all races) in the book.

Im with you 100%. Someone spolied FIGHT CLUB for me too. It was still awesome, but I never got the earnest first viewing that the idiot that spilled the beans did either.

While that works for the instances to which you refer - there are plenty of stories that hinge on the viewer not knowing some fact prior to viewing/reading.

This is why people who ONLY watch certian news stations/programs continue to ONLY watch those news stations/programs.

Plus its Google, so anytime there is even a whiff of inconvenience there must be a lengthy tirade written on Giz, just to remind people how much they like to bitch about Google.

I would agree, but I would also imagine that the general public wouldnt have the equipment and/or know how to complete the task regardless of their access to the research. Honestly though that statement is completely unqualified as I am not a pathologist/virologist/microbiologist.

Also, there is a big difference between student-grade and artist-grade (and Liquitex tends to cater to craftspeople/students moreso than "pros" though they do have artist grade lines if I am not mistaken). Artist grade is generally pigment + medium (i.e. acrylic polymer emulsion, linseed oil etc.). Student grade is
