I think that they are speaking more to the fact that the teams at Google are much more well-integrated and are allowed to share info between them - not necessarily with tech-civilians such as ourselves. Apple operates more like a terrorist organization - with less integrated - independently operating cells which

Id guess that is sarcasm? Either that or you dont read Giz very often. Giz is unabashedly PRO-APPLE and ANTI-GOOGLE. Their fanboyism rivals that of the more rabid Giz commenters.

are you not aware that over 80% of Giz's Google-related posts are decidedly ANTI-GOOGLE, even when its completely baseless or not justified?

Yeah you cant do that. Every employer I know of or have worked for has a non-disclosure you have to sign BEFORE you even receive the bonus. NO employer wants their eomployees to divulge sensitive information about compensation - as it would likely piss off anyone who got a shittier deal.

Titanium dioxide is used in food coloring and sunscreen. The only warnings it has are for chemical interaction and inhalation of particles. IOW what you just said is right in line with my post... i.e. (generally) the more dangerous the pigment is to handle - the more expensive the paint. The reason for this is that

They can be appropriately applied to the employees that work for the companies that are contracted by Apple, just not anyone who is Stateside.

Does it come with a clock, or is that an option?

That would pass more cost along to the customer than any potential shrinkage from loss on fraudulent returns.

Just touch it... PLEEEEEEASE?

Clearly you are right. You are also the most awesome person in the world. I now understand anti-trust solely due to your insightful comments. You are my favorite.

They arent removing or demoting the results. Their algo indexes certain data that FB does not allow them to access. That makes FB score less relevant, hence the lower result. FB can change this by indexing data, but they wont - so it would seem that its a FB/Twitter problem not a google issue.

(Wondering what exactly you could have possibly said to deserve a star, and wondering why you continue to make arguments about something that you said you are incapable of making arguments about)

You have made arguments... i.e. your saying that Google is forcing users to use Google+ (THIS IS THE SAME ARGUMENT THAT FB and TWITTER WOULD MAKE). This is not a subtle implication ITS WHAT YOU SAID. Everything else has been not so subtly implied. I am not the only person who has this point of view, so more likely you

Both of those cases are legitimate, but NEITHER has any real bearing on this case. There are a few minor similarities between this potential case and the MS case, but they are VERY MINOR. That case was about the ubiquity of the programs that came with the OS (Explorer etc.) that were not part of the OS. Since everyone

Why dont you share it instead of flame baiting every GD post?

That was a more subtle way of saying that none of your posts on this subject have really added anything to the discussion.

While I would hate to even give the appearance that I may be siding with Metronome, given his inane handling of the discussion, Google actually cannot give certain results special consideration. There have been a lot of lawsuits already WRT their algorithm and Google has had to walk on eggshells to make sure that

I can easily cite case law, but the largest and most famous cases are Ma Bell and Microsoft - of which both cases are well known, and of which neither has any real bearing on this case.

Im sure that will be a great help to people trying to quit! #BestIdeaEVAR

I think that that is the driving force.... You cant quit unless you actually WANT to.
