It’s demonstrably possible to be both, and, in the process, helping them to learn how to be the guardians of themselves.

Well, that’s a bit of an overreaction, don’t you think? Letting a kid watch YouTube and encouraging them to communicate with you if they see anything disturbing is considerably different than encouraging them to use drugs, yes?

Not that the videos as described aren’t terrible, but is there any evidence that there is harm being caused to the millions of kids who do watch YouTube?

This can create its own problems. If he sees something on YouTube that’s genuinely disturbing, he won’t be comfortable talking to you about it, because it’s been forbidden.

This is not one bit more intelligent an opinion than, “If there’s global warming, it shouldn’t be snowing in winter,” or “God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

Who? There’s one accusation that was investigated by two independent, professional groups and the accusations were found to be made up of changing stories and no evidence. Which other women are accusing him of raping them?

If it turns out to be a hoax, then instead of there being two violent men roaming Chicago (likely with more victims), there is one emotionally broken actor who did a terrible thing, but didn’t violently victimize anyone. That’s certainly a possibility.

People often confuse “I don’t find this funny,” with “This isn’t funny,” in the same way people confuse, “I don’t like this singer’s voice,” with, “This person can’t sing.”

Waitaminute...I’m getting the feeling that neither of those things are true!

I cannot stand the taste of peas or beets. They are your peas and beets, but I don’t know who is which.

“It poisoned an entire generation of people.”
