There are good reasons for owning other consoles, though at the moment the reasons are limited and Microsoft needs to work better at keeping their exclusives this gen. I feel the last generation the Xbox started strong with exclusives, but the PS3 topped them in the end.

Really, I think this is the best way to look at Nintendo consoles. Get them for the exclusives.

You don't have to be an Author to post there, and the people who can give Author status if that appeals to you keep an eye on TAYClassic and I guess they are pretty good about handing out Author status. Generally a good group over there.

I loved the World of Power series as a kid. I didn't get all of them sadly.

I don't know about if they still do it today, but Playboy has published fictional stories. I first found that out when I discovered that the Michael Crichton book The Terminal Man was serialized in Playboy.

That, and it's apparently at least partly an FMV game. Not a good sign.
