Farley Chippendales reference is always a good thing.

Some of my less than stellar shopping. First time I watched the commercial, I really got the vibe he was trying to channel Jack Black, so this is what I went with.

I think the key word might be "activated". It gives people who may have purchased the game from an online source with cheap shipping a chance to get the game and install it. For example, my copies of God of War Ascension and StarCraft 2 Heart of the Swarm come out March 12th, but Amazon is giving me an expected

And it better be chock full of High Definition FMV! I wonder if companies that made games that used FMV still have the raw, uncompressed footage.

Now playing

I have this video saved for occasions like this.

Do you mean, The Dude?

Should done a paraphrase of "The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated" for the headline.

Might not be aquatic enough, but the one of the first things that popped in my head was The Forgotten Capital in Final Fantasy 7. I think the shell shaped buildings help add to the aquatic atmosphere

Not sure about Spec Ops, but I think dramatic moments can be had in co-op experiences. You are certainly right that not all games should be this way though.

I personally thought it had some plot holes, nothing too bad though. Funny thing was, when discussing the ending with my brother I explained what parts I disliked about the ending and how they could have fixed it. When the extended cut came out, most of my complaints were addressed in pretty much the same way I had

Yay for Wall*E!

OK, I must have missed them. I was under the impression that they only talked about the trick of going between areas to get the respawning boxes. I didn't think they mentioned the Ration Seals at all, which allows you to purchase the resource packs for free.

I bought 3 of the most expensive resource packs even though I didn't really need them in the end. Only reason I got them was because I could get them for free from, get this, actually playing the game. Unless I am mistaken, I don't think any article Kotaku posted about the resource packs in Dead Space 3 mentions

I saw "black oriented comics", and this was the first thing that popped into my head. That and T'Challa.

You go to hell, you go to hell and you die!

I think it would be interesting to sell the complete game for $60, then sell each part for (1/X)($60)+25(Y)%, where X is the number of parts the game is split up to and Y is a number more than 0 and less than or equal to 1 to hit a sweet spot. Then, give an option to upgrade for (1/X)($60)+15(Y)%.

Didn't realize that.

Noooooooo! I don't want it to mean anything. I want my happy thoughts!
