I can see that. I've made jokes over the years that you can tell who is a hero and who is a villain in these games based on how beautiful they are. Of course there will be one token not-as-handsome boy on the good guy's side and one token pretty boy on the villains side, but overall it remains true.

Which is weird because past Persona games have had no problems at all giving these kids real weapons. Hell, in Persona 3, the police would sell you a sniper rifle. And some of the spin-off games show Naoto carries her revolver everywhere. Even to school.
