I’m not even heartbroken anymore, just suuuuuper disappointed in Americans specifically, and humans in general. Probably why I don’t really have a fear of death, like, oh no I may die and then never have to worry about this shithole of a population anymore.....

I’ve long argued the the issue in this country isn’t the actual politics, left vs right, it’s always been about toxic masculinity. Trace back every issue we have and I’ll bet it tracks right back to that nearly every time.

I’m starting to understand my Boomer parents more and more these days. All I see for the future is hopelessness and futility, and every year I’m just more “fuck it, I’m ignoring everything until I can die and it can all end.”

Yet here we still are, so apparently their strategy works. Yell about vulture VCs buying a company and running it into the ground, but still come to the site, view the ads and engage in the chat.

Like Abbott in Texas with his current campaigning advertising push. Under the guise of “parental freedom in education and health”, just not the freedom for those that don’t want their kids to die from diseases they pick up at school from unvaxxed kids, or an education with zero teachers because they all either quit…

If any of it got converted to actual currency, i.e. dollars, then it would be income and he would owe taxes, so yeah, he better hope he’s at least filing proper tax returns for it. As for everyone else losing money, well, I have no empathy for them on that one. Play stupid crypto games...

Fair. He can do this all day.

It’s just as tough, precise, athletic, and requires as much practice and preparation as any other sport.

It’s like anti-vaxers* directly sabotaged the effort, and then laughed about how it wasn’t successful.

There’s still a lot of people who are actively doing that, much less wanting to go “back” to it.

It will be missed, but it’s sacrifice is worth the cost.

I wonder how many other people on the road there narrowly avoided dying, much less took damage to their own vehicles.
