A nice movie. Sadly, first part is full of spoilers. They didn't quite manage to hide the clues properly, in an attempt to over-prove the clues were there.

SPOILERS! But it's the Vale he wants. Makes perfect sense to kill Jon. He married Lysa. He's gonna kill her, throwing her trough the Moon Door. He becomes that way the Lord Protector of the Vale.
